UR Nuts, My husband was the last male of his entire family. So I am sure it was your hand (I am sorry because I an sure you would have loved to serve your country I am not saying this in an ugly way I mean it) Anyway I am glad you are proud of your service and should be, Just as my husband and son are proud to serve their country, When needed..not in fabricated situations. If anyone thinks war is good they have not had to live with a family member in danger and I also speak of Law enforcement (it is not donut shops my brother in law was a police officer and was wounded ) That being said I really believe we must try any means to try to avoid starting a war or getting involved in situations like Iraq. Just as a police officer will try to stop and slow down a tense situation before it escalates. I am sorry but as bad as it may sound to some. WE have to let other countries work out their own problems because what might and has happened we piss off both sides they find a common enemy ...us. Look at Afghanistan We gave the Afghans arms to fight Russia and they turned around and came after us.

Great post.
But as long as there is money to be made, troops will die, and things will get blown up.
Spending over a Trillion Dollars a year on a War Department when no country wants to attack us would be way to clearly stupid, unless we can claim that someone, somewhere, for some reason, needs killin.
hey I got an idea lets stop spending on our war department and when we do get attacked as we did in 2001 we can just call on Russia to protect us

So during the Bush administration there were 11 attacks on our embassies. Many were attacked multiple times and 62 people died. Where was the outrage?
Great assessment. The post about Benghazi was generated by right-wing extremists in our community. The goal and objective is to divide the community. They attempt to lead the heard through disinformation. Shameful.
