Obama's military golf courses are staying open. Obama's trying to close all the state highways leading to parks. South Dakota's governor told the Feds to take down the cones and open the state road. They did. Maybe the Georgia governor doesn't have the backbone that the South Dakota governor has. The Feds basically closing a state park in Georgia?

I cannot believe how much ### is on this website. I find myself reading this stuff like someone who cannot help looking at an accident!! I think some people like to make up their own right wing "facts". Do you people research anything or do you just vomit the things Fox news or people Like Hannity, Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh say.( by the way I am sure they want to thank you for all of the money and for making them so rich. Who knew you could make so much money being so negative??? and wait, I am sure they would want me to say thanks, for buying their books, they are laughing all the way to the bank are you???) I am not saying everything the President and the Dems have done is correct however, It only takes a few minutes to check something before you state it as a "fact" and make yourself sound uninformed. The non political website FACTCHECK.org is available for information. Do not just look at a left or right wing publication for information because, if you do, you may just vote in the same fools that are making a mess out of our country today!!
So you get your truth from factcheck. They are funded by liberal organizations. Biased, yes. I would never believe a word they print.

I watch both the network news, biased liberal; cnn Nearly communist, and Fox news and I have found Fox to be the most unbiased of all. They do have conservative viewpoints but some of the time they have liberals give the opposing opinion. A good program to watch is the 5 at 5.

We are 18 Trillion in debt and some say we are even 82 Trillion in debt. This country is going bankrupt and the Liberals are cheering it on. We will be just like Europe with 90% taxation. In Europe any people who work free enterprise and have any money are leaving. No one wants a job in Europe except immigrants from Muslim countries. As a consequence France will be a majority Muslim country in a couple of decades and Britian not far behind. Both are nearly broke.
These are the countries Obama wants to be like?

Think of it this way. A person has a 100 credit cards all maxed out and now wants permission to get another one so he can live. This is the USA. I really think the Tea Party might be the only sane political party.

"As detailed in a Sunday New York Times story, a well-financed cohort of conservative activists have been planning for months to use a government shutdown as a cudgel to cripple the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Among those behind the effort are, predictably, the Koch brothers, the right-wing billionaire industrialists who, the newspaper reports, gave out $200 million last year to anti-Obamacare groups. Another key leader is a figure from the dark past, Richard Nixon’s former attorney general, Edwin Meese III.
Also pushing the Obamacare battle is Michael A. Needham, who runs the political arm of the conservative Heritage Foundation. Unlike Bachmann and her buddies, Needham did not play coy when asked about what is going on, telling the New York Times,“We felt very strongly from the start that this was a fight that we were going to pick.”
And it’s the fight they got. Republicans should stop feigning innocence and be brave enough to own it."

The New York Times ran an article the other day about the advance planning on the right that went into the government shutdown. I got a kick out of this line:

A defunding “tool kit” created in early September included talking points for the question,“What happens when you shut down the government and you are blamed for it?”
So the pamphlet in the cartoon is not much of an exaggeration.

Video: Anderson Cooper to Raul Labrador: You're Getting Real Questions Here
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/10/08/1245...

This gem of a clip begins with a metaphor from Rep. Raul Labrador (R-ID): Democrats asking Republicans to sign a clean CR is like CNN asking Cooper to sign a contract first and negotiate the terms later. Cooper shoots back: "But it's not really that way because Congress hasn't passed my contract and the Supreme Court hasn't accepted my contract as valid."

Labrador goes for another angle: Romney was lost the election because he was "known as the godfather of Obamacare." Cooper clarifies: "So basically your argument is you're nullifying two presidential elections and you're nullifying the vote of Congress because you don't like it."

Labrador insists that the clean CR wouldn't garner enough votes. Cooper says, "Why not just try?" "Why should we?" Labrador asks. "Because that's how things work," Cooper says. "Your job is to vote on things."

The grand finale comes at 3:30, when Labrador accuses Cooper of "having a stake" in this, to which Cooper responds with the best sound byte of the clip: "This is the way it works in journalism. When you're not on Fox News, you get contentious interviews. When you're not on MSNBC and a liberal, you get contentious interviews. My job is to ask you questions that are different than you think... That's what a journalist does!"

Fox host apologizes for reporting fake news

Fox News host Anna Kooiman apologized on Sunday for reporting a story from a satirical news site.

On Saturday, the co-host of Fox & Friends Saturday was talking about the government shutdown when she said President Barack Obama had offered to personally pay for a "museum of Muslim culture" while the Republican National Committee was willing to pay to keep war memorials open.

"It really doesn't seem fair, especially -- and we're going to talk a little bit later in the show too about some things that are continuing to be funded. And President Obama has offered to pay for the museum of Muslim culture out of his own pocket, yet it's the Republican National Committee who's paying for this," Kooiman said.

A fake news story about Obama offering to personally pay to keep the "International Museum of Muslim Culture" open during the shutdown was posted on the satirical site National Report last week.

Kooiman tweeted out an apology on Sunday.

Liberals news makes mistakes, but we rarely never see an apology. This is sad because in a Democracy the news media is supposed to call out whoever is in power. ABC,NBC and CBS are all Liberal with a liberal bias. CNN and MSNBC are ultra liberal. Fox is the only way to see another view point. I am glad we have Fox or our country would already be flushing down the toilet. I think we all should be objective and watch both sides viewpoints.

Yep, thank goodness we've got folks like this protecting the touilet bowl and offering us that alternate point of view.

And after objectivly watching Fox News we learn that they can't distingush between a real news source and a fake one, thankfully they do provide an alternate take on things.

Thanks for playing.

It's highly improbable that the tea-bagging MORONS who continually post right-wing nonsense on this site, will be able to read, much less comprehend the information provided in the above paragraph. NO ONE will be forced to purchase insurance through the Affordable Care Act....you can purchase insurance through your employer, or on your own, the only caveat is that you won't be allowed to purchase a policy with outrageously high out of pocket expenses (aka garbage policy), which would provide little or no help in the first place.

All it takes is a little basic, independent research, which FOK News doesn't supply.

Liberals can not be objective. Their way or the highway. No attempt at being objective. Really asinine.

You watch you propaganda and believe you see the truth. You should try to be objective. I believe if you do not try to understand both sides you can't understand anything but a lie.

No i am an Independent. I criticized Bush for his excessive spending as much as anyone. I supported Clinton. I have grown to disagree with the Liberals though because I looked at both sides and believe the Tea Party has a point. These are very bright people and they are not going away despite the Liberals name calling.
