Really?
If you did that on every thread there would be no Topix at all. Maybe a good idea.

Well, you get some of what you want. Mack emailed 14 names to Stephens. Fourteen men and women with families got told less than a week before Christmas that they don't have jobs in the new year... Just a crying shame.

This is not the truth.
Mason can't make those decisions until he takes office and is sworn in.

Please don't believe this story.

Actually he can... He has the right to let people know before he takes office if wants to have their services under his administration. He already knows who he wants and who he doesn't. He knows what programs he will continue and which he will eliminate. He has already "hired" the people he wants to run certain departments. He has done all of this so come the first of the year, there is a smoothe transition into his administration. By telling these 14 people about the change, it saves him the embarrassment of firing them. If you don't believe it, contact the Sheriff's department. Do your homework. It is all part of freedom of information...

Has anyone heard what Scott Stephens is going to be doing after the first of the year, when he leaves office?

It is true. He [or his imposter] did just that. I've seen it in person.

Has the man had access to personnel files or is he doing this on whim and prejudice?

Mack is probably doing it on a know history of stupid stuff they have done.

Or he make just be re reading some old letters in the North Georgia News.

I would say it is a very easy task.

I would not stop at 32 , I would go for the whole 39.

Isn't it hard to write a public letter to a Sheriff's candidate telling reasons you can't or won't work for him if he's elected, and pay to have it published in the local newspaper a couple of weeks before the election, and then act all shocked and surprised when the man does the honorable thing.....and takes you at your word?

You are men ( and women ) of your word....right?

Your almost correct. UCSO is a prime place to clean house!

How are those dark ,tinted windows for "tactical reasons" working?:)

Im sure the deputies that haven't lived up to expectations know their time is limited.
