AAA: Record gas price in Washington

I'd like to see the cost of gas before state taxes please.

Gas taxes here in wash in some places are up to 55 cents per gallon.

Yes, it's amazing. THAT's why we have some of the highest prices in the country, which is why I'd like to here them tell the pre-tax cost & compare that with other states pre-tax cost.

It is insane the price we pay at the pump. THe cheapest gas station is at the Northern Lights Casino on Fidalgo island. It is Chevron and their regular is $3.37. Not cheap by any means but they keep it on the lower scale compared to everywhere else. I pass it going to work sometimes and it is one price, on my way home it is often 2-4 cents higher recently.
Last month gas was at $2.86 there and it has been on the rise ever since.

Sad thing is, this isnt a supply and demand issue, but rather a stock market driven problem.

I'm thankful for vanpools.
