Did none of you ever grow up on a farm?? Don't you know everyone has a job to do?? You people sit behind your PC in a nice warm room & judge people that are out right now in the weather working,,,working to keep food on the table & shoes on the kids feet!! It's not easy work, I'll bet none of you,,no one has ever pulled a calf from a birthing mother that could'nt have it on her own!! You people make me sick with your judgemental attitudes,, If you've never been there you will never know!!!
Been there and done that but we did it at 5:00 in the monring and 5:00 in the evening.

Actually I did grow up on a farm. And so did my kids, I took them all to the barn with me when I worked there and they were happy and safe. Or I made sure one of the older ones or a neighbor was awake watching over them. I never left them alone in the house. Children need to be protected, not left alone to fend for themselves at age 2 and 3.

What is your problem with me? I support the current building code that requires residential sprinklers. I sympathize with this family, but residential sprinklers may keep this from happening in the future to another family.

And I can assure you that I am and have been a firefighter, both career and volunteer for well over 40 years.

....out of curiosity ...got fire insurance? 1. sprinklers help lower monthly payments. 2. you woun't become a crispy critter. Your choice alive and healty or a crispy critter.
