How can you make a story like this and not have a picture of Prince Chunk to show the world?

I agree. I want to see him!

The lady who put him out needs to be smacked. I know her house was forec losed on and that is very hard, but how hard can it be to take him to a shelter instead of just putting him out?

There will definitely be a period of adjustment, but I've known many people who've introduced adult cats into homes which already have cats and it works out. Takes patience and time! Good to hear that "His Chubbiness" has found a new home.

The cat plays too many video games and eats fast food instead of playing outside and eating right.

the process of forclosing on a house does not happen over night. this woman had a few weeks if not months to find a new home for the cat. she should be ashamed

Triple K just found a kitten in one of my pine trees behind my house a couple of days ago. I noticed a red tail hanging out by the trees for a couple of days then I heard the meowing. I think the red-tail got its other litter mates. The kittens about 6-8 weeks and only weighs about a pound. My daughter fell in love with it so we're going to adopted it. I'll let you know if I find anymore hopefully before the red-tail gets them.

If those 400 aplpicants would take home another not-so-famous cat instead, the shelter would be ecstatic.

I just got a very funny visual of that fat cat on the couch w/ a PS3 Controller between his paws :)
I'm glad "Prince Chunk" got a good home :)

For those who have not followed the story. The woman contacted the shelter after seeing media coverage of Powder.
She gave Powder to someone who said they would look after him, they are the ones who turned him out on to the street.

as an aside...If more homeless animals got the press that he got there be more adopted pets
