Possible School Closure in Ware County

Financial problems have a local school facing possible closure. At 7 p.m. tonight, there will be a brainstorming session at the Ware County Board of Education on Bailey Street in Waycross.

What a jewel of a school. They are doing great things at that school! It is continually ranked in News and World Report as a great school nationally. This would be a GREAT loss for the community. Dr. Darlene Tanner and her staff have done a tremendous job with this school and its students. Special Prayers for the Magnet

How many students at the magnet school and what grades? how many at the high school? Said that we have a place that teaches kids and it becomes the target.

Sad that we have a place that teaches kids and it becomes the target of such budget cuts.Or is this a way to get ayp scores up at ware high?(this would be a way of white washing the real problem with education)
