5A and 6A schools in Georgia charge $10 per reserved seat per home game (around $50-$60 for 5 home games) but we have to pay double that price for the new red seats at our stadium ($100 for 5 home games). What the hell???

I do not mind the price so much for one season ticket, but it gets kind of expensive if you want to buy three or more. Also it needs to be taken into consideration that the tax payers are the ones paying for the new school and facilities. A fair price always creates good will. Whatever the price for season tickets the public should believe it is reasonable and fair.

Where did these prices come from??? Is there ever any research done? Why not look into other places around us before deciding on a price? You have a few people that insert themselves into everything but don't know what they are doing. Not even smart enough to know they are unqualified to make some of the decisions they make. New school, same ole dumbasses.

I have to agree. TD trying to use seats to make money. Those seats belong to the taxpayer not the TD Club. School Board better get a hold on this.

The economy is so bad right now there gonna find the seats are gonna be empty.Sure we almainans love our football and supporting our boys but lots of people simply cant afford that kind of price for a friday night footballgame. And what's really sad is that probably 50% of the people that just cant afford to pay that kind of price has a child playing.

I think every player In every high school sport should be allotted two tickets or more to give to who ever they want to give them to. Hopefully they would give them to members of their family, but they could give them to anyone. All major colleges do this. This would be a good way for the Board of Education to show its support for the schools athletic teams and players.

I agree 100%. Lots of these parents have invested a lot of their time on the field with these boys from the beginning of rec ball all the way to high-school ball.

I like the idea for football players only, not all sports. It is a football stadium. A kid who only plays BCHS Golf should not have free tickets to the football stadium. And, likewise football players shouldn't get free access to baseball events. The football boys put the arses in those seats, so the seats should be theirs alone to distribute. Either way the TD club is in over its head on this thing. Maybe school officials can step in before it gets messy.

I would like to apologize for any confusion or frustration that has been caused by reserved seating at the new stadium. The prices that were posted on our FB page were for membership into the Bacon County Touchdown Club. Reserved seating is part of the package that is included in the price of membership depending on the contribution level. Some corporate and business sponsors pay thousands of dollars into our football program through the Touchdown Club. Other individuals also pay anywhere from $25 to $1000 in membership contributions. Anyone wishing to join and support our Red Raiders is encouraged to do so. Reserved seats for non-paid members will be made available at a later date and will not cost $100.
The Touchdown Club is an incorporated not-for-profit organization who's goal is to provide financial support for the success of Bacon County football on all levels. Funds are used for varsity and middle school football as well as sponsorship for the rec league. It is the financial support of our members that allows the Touchdown Club to provide what we can to make the program successful and share the financial burden that is placed on the Athletic Department. The Touchdown Club pays for everything from food for the athletes to uniforms and other equipment. If you would like to be involved in how decisions are made with the Touchdown Club, please contact a member or refer to our website for information. We are always looking for members and would appreciate any help that we can get. Please join us. Not everyone can afford some of the higher membership levels but we are always needing people that care about our young men to help get things done. It doesn't just happen. It takes the help of dedicated individuals to create success off the field so are boys can be successful on the field. We want to make every season the best season that it can be. GO RAIDERS!!!!!!

I have always found the BCTC to be a good organization. It really helps in so many ways with Bacon County athletics. Many good citizens are members of this organization and work hard to make life better for our athletes on field and off field and also for all the children and youth of Bacon County. Thanks to all of you and for all you do. I know the BCTC is not a perfect organization and some will always fault with some of its decisions and policies, but Bacon Athletics has profited greatly from its work and help. We are better off with this organization than we would be without it.

I am not really sure what our church affiliation has to do with the management of the Touchdown Club. I can however appreciate your concern that all seats need to be paid for as they should be. In order to make you feel better we would be glad to accept your membership payment and then afford you the opportunity to join us at the regularly scheduled meetings. Minutes are read, financial reports are provided, and business is discussed at these meetings.
If you or anyone else is interested in membership, scheduled meetings, and other relevant information in regards to the BCTC it can be found by going to http://bcraidersfootball.com
Thank you Farrell Landon for allowing me the opportunity to address this concern.
Best regards,
Tim Allmond - Vice President of the Bacon County Touchdown Club
