They've been telling all of their customers, to include me, that they are moving and that the manager is the only person that can accept their gift cards. They would not refund any gift card, due to the manager dodging customers. And now they are going out of business. Another way to say screw the customer! Well, I don't know if it will do any good, but I filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I'd suggest anyone else to do the same.

Oh yeah, it's official. I called their number today and it said that due to economic restraints, it would no longer be in business. That whole tale that they were moving was big load of crap. Below is a link that you might find interesting about the manager/owner.

The last time I checked, these were still part of the ten commandments:
You shall not steal
You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor
And you know lying to your customers doesn't exactly sound very Christian either.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

We just moved here and spent a bunch of money on gift certificates for people at this place. Guess I should have checked the website first; anyone who sports the email "spa4jesus@msn.com" is certainly fixin' to screw you. Just my humble opinion.

That sucks, I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm out well over $100 on gift certificates myself.

For Christmas I recieved a gift card worth $300 from Classic Body Image. 2 weeks later I go to make an appointment- shut down. Called one of the employees listed on the paper on the door. He said that there was $10,000 worth of unclaimed gift cards out there. Can't believe this lady would do that. Spa4jesus....hah she's for sure going to hell.

Yes, and the worst part of this, is that her husband is a doctor. They certainly are not hurting that bad for money! Last time I checked doctors are not the ones suffering from the economy.

I, too, am not that happy about not being about to use my gift card, but it is out of line to say that a person is going to hell. A person is saved from hell by believing in Jesus, not by doing good works. Therefore, they are not destined to hell by making bad choices. We are saved by grace, not by anything we do.

This is true, but I don't know how anyone could sleep at night knowing what a horrible person they are. I for one, hope she can not sleep at night.

Moral of this story...never trust a bible banging weirdo, they will rip you off every single time.(Or molest you. Or rob you. Or both.) Freaks. Wasting the community's money, false real estate deals, the whole thing. A big fat lie wrapped up in The Bible! Gross.

I assume Classic Body Image Day Spa is a fitness center, i.e. treadmills, nautilus, steam rooms, etc.

Don't you all know that fitness centers have been racked with scandals since Day One? I would rather invest my money (buying a gift certificate is similar to investing in the business) with the pool hall down the street or the card room across town. The odds of the gift certificate being honored would be greater with the avowed thieves, not the fitness centers.

As they say, live and learn.

Saw this on Meredith's Salon in Christiansburg.
Bring in your Classic Body Image Gift Card and receive up to $50 off your services!(proof of purchase required)
Please call for details and to schedule your appointment!
Offer Expires 3/31/10 Excludes services with Kevin and Amy
web site is:
http://www.meredithssalon.com/specials.html
So, if you still have your gift card, you're in luck.
I know a former Classic Image employee works there.

Let me guess: that former employee is you and your boss asked you to put his spam on the forum. Right?

You have a large cavity near your tailbone where you can put his spam.

Oh well, not worth posting to this site, when you have trolls from other states, who question every posting. To those who have any common sense, you can check the link and call them. And no, I'm not a former employee. My wife got duped out of a gift card by Classic Images, but luckily still has it. She was lied to by these people, as the original poster also mentioned. Shall we pre-judge Meredith's Salon in Christiansburg too? Never trust Spa's and Salon's again?

No, it's a spa and salon. Massage, facial, etc.

I think that she is a total hypocrite. Preaching one thing and doing another. Isnt this the same women who had scriptures on the salon walls?

We should have figured out when all of her long term employees left. I heard their paychecks bounced?

I have heard this bc a former employee does my hair and has been for years. If I was her I would be ashamed to show my face in town.

yes, her paychecks most certainly bounced...most people 3 or 4 times...at one point she only had one hair stylist and a receptionist working...certainly doesn't know how to treat people

If she's so broke, maybe she should trade in her Lexus. Probably would've been smart to stay with the doctor husband too
