I am sure that for these 6, there 2 dozen more that did not get caught. One of the scary things is that 3 of the 6 are under 21. Who was so kind enough to buy them their liquor and drugs? They need to be charged.

If any of these people are repeat offendors, they need to do some jail time with a long term suspension of their driving licence. It is time to get tough on those who would drive and kill our children and our parents.

Can't imagine 17 and 18 year olds driving around drunk. Lets face it the North Country as a whole has a real problem with this small town drinking, not much else to really do. They see the moms and dads doing it and it is passes down through the generations. Nothing against the clubs but the parents need to set a much better example for sure.

The story did not indicate that an adult was charged with providing alcohol to a minor.

I don't know if the police automatically search for the people who give alcohol to minors but maybe one of our police officers who might read this can tell us whether it is automatic or if someone needs to make a complaint.

I think it should be an automatic investigation but I don't know the reality of that investigation

I wonder if the police are investigating where these minors got their alcohol from? Even if they do find out, the kids will just say they stole it from their parental units. I agrre with you.

There is plenty to do here. Make your own fun. You seem to make excuses for this behavior and are part of the problem. There is NO excuse for driving in this state. It has nothing to do with the ole' excuse I'm bored. It is an individual choice that these idiots make. What if Mom and Dad don't drink?
