New Elmwood policeman's back to being lone officer in department

Good luck to you Matt. Remember to thank Chief Meyers for all of the high tech equipment that you will be using to "Serve and Protect" with. If it wasn't for the Chief, Elmwood P.D. would still be in the stone ages. We miss you Adam. Our community was safer when you were the Chief of Police. You were never afraid to do your job and if there was any truth to what you were dismissed for, you wouldn't be a Police Officer today. God bless you!

I agree. Chief Meyers was an inspiration to our community. From the elderly to the youngins, many people loved him. Finally Elmwood had a police officer that wasn't afraid to do his job regardless of what the board tried to order him to do. Meyers was a policeman and not a politician. I applaud you Chief Meyers. Our community needs you to return.
