Wife saw it on Nokomis during last snowstorm. Found bloody snow in side and back yard last Saturday (daytime). Think it took a cat.

There are always coyotes hunting cats in neighborhoods with easy access. Briargate they come in in packs at times to hunt. My dogs know to stay quite when they hear the howls. Can't beleive anyone that lives in a town that has so many open areas is unaware that any pets not behind fenced yards are prey for any wild animals that roam our area. It certianly is any new news. I always tell the newbees form the city that letting cats out at night is just feeding the wild animals. Of course they will hunt where they find easy [prey.
