Someone in the system really needs to take a look on harsher punishment for people like this man. Innocent animals and even children suffer the consequences for their actions, and in my opinion we need to sign some sort of a pettition to get HARSH PUNISHMENT to it's fullest to make sure that is someone out there is thinking about doing something like this, they will think it over a couple more times before actually taking action against another innocent beign.

I'd like to know the man's name. I'd wager that it would be a Hispanic one. Hispanic immigrants and even Latino American citizens seem to be behind the majority of these animal cruelty cases. Watch the nightly news. Pit bulls with their ears cut off, burned, mutilated, leashes embedded into their skin...Watch the news and see if I'm correct or not.
Leave the "You're a racist" comments out. It doesn't bother me when people call me names.

I got my dog last Christmas, from some Jerk throwing her out of the window of their car in traffic. She was only 6 weeks old then. She half German shepard and half Akita. Very Obedient. I would love for her to run into that person now. She is 4 months old, and already 60 lbs. Dude, SHE WILL EAT YOUR ARM IDIOT !!!!!

This is sickening. Anyone hurting an innocent - be an animal or human being- should hopefully be paying the consequence. As to Mr. Horton's "quote", ignorance, intolerance and stereotyping is a sad thing. If the rest of the world (yes, there are other beautiful cultures and countries outside United States) used your same technique, what would be said about the "white" people? Yes, this is cruelty to animals. Nevertheless, it's funny how people treat their fellow man worst than animals. Example, our homeless and less fortunate. This man must pay for his actions but so should the American Jerks in this society who treats his fellow man as dirt. Point: Place value where it's needed.

Perhaps you have a few people in your family that have abused animals in various rituals? Study the demonic religion "Santeria" and tell me some more fairy tales of your "beautiful cultures" that kill animals to apease their inner demons.
You must not watch the local news at 9:00 or 10:00 PM every night. Just tonight, there was a story of animal abuse by a person with a hispanic last name. Don't tell me I'm making these stories up---they're only increasing in number and severity.

Just because they don'y put them on the news because people like you don't like seeing their own kind on t.v. for stuff like that dosen't mean they don't do it to. Most of the times I've seen animal abuse it was always white boys! So you need to check yourself gringo because i'm proud to say i'm hispanic and me and my family and other hispanics i know are all animal lovers.

I agree with everyone who says that there should be harsher punishment. It is rediculous that someone could take their pitty out on some poor, innocent, animal. And for the guy that said there is mostly hispanics that hurt the animals, well buddy I think you need to do a little more research because its not true. But there is petitions out there that you can sign but I really don't think it will help that much because the government really doesn't care. I also agree that the people who hurt the animal, should face the same punishment against themselves that they put the animal through.

All right there are a few issues that I must comment on. Why? Because I am an opinionated person and I feel I must.
1. I completely agree there will never be a harsh punishment for this man. Maybe a little slap on the wrist and a fine and yes I agree that is total and complete bullshit. To be blunt I say they should castrate him. It may be extreme but it takes the fight out of a lot of dogs so why not him? I’ll bet you 10-to-1 he’ll never pull a stunt like that again.
Then again the jails are pretty tough. I’d personally like to see him thrown in a high security prison for a few years with no conjugal visits permitted except for a few from a big ole’ burly guy that he doesn’t want one from.(Or does he?)
2. To Racist Guy: You’ve obviously never been to a trailer park. Do that and then I will take your opinion more seriously but until then; you’re a douche. I do have to agree that I would like to know his name but just so I can go to his house and screw with his head by playing that scene from Cujo where he’s attacking the car door with all the snarling and barking on my tape recorder. Oh yeah, he’ll have good dreams after that.
3. Now on to my favorite subject; theology. Relying on God to do something for you is in all reality one of the stupidest things you can do. God specifically stated that he would help those that help themselves, so basically if you want his help in bringing on some divine justice you’re going to have to do something to warrant his help. Sitting back, praying, and then forgetting the problem is simply not enough. It’s a simple concept really. If you want something you have to work for it. Relying on somebody else, deity or otherwise, shows a weakness of character known as Sloth which is one of the seven deadly sins so if you ask for God’s help but don’t do anything to warrant his help yet still expect him to come through that basically drops you into that category.
4.(Completely off topic) I have a Pekingese puppy.
