BLM says grasslands fire good for Agua Fria Monument
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management is managing but not trying to extinguish a wildfire on the Agua Fria National Monument, where lightning historically has been igniting grasslands fires for centuries.

Please don't let the ones caused by carelessnes of tourists throwing cigarettes out the window get defined as a BLM grass fires. Our native Arizonans see and know the difference. If only I could catch that errant cigarette throwing motorist.
Some of us are enlightened and use inside vehicle fire proof ashtrays,regardless of whether or not you like smoking.
