I pray that justice is served for the Lancaster family. Mr. Rush deserves a severe penalty for what he has done.

I hope that justice is served FAIRLY for both the Lancaster family AS WELL AS the Rush family.
I had heard rumors that the man who was shot had an illegal drug habit as well as a past history of mental instabilities. This makes me think that it could be very well true that Mr. Lancaster had, indeed, attacked Mr. Rush with the knife first.
On one hand, Mr. Rush obviously didn't keep the most respectable company - if he had Mr. Lancaster wouldn't have been at his home in the first place. On the other hand, Mr. Rush wasn't a trained law enforcement officer. When he grabbed the gun I doubt the first thing on his mind was how to cause the least amount of damage to Mr. Lancaster while still preventing him from stabbing him with the knife. I am sure Mr. Rush simply grabbed the gun and fired until he knew his life was no longer in danger at the hands of Mr. Lancaster.
I'd also heard that the only witness, Mr. Lancaster's girlfriend has changed her story several times so anything she has said obviously cannot be trusted as reliable information.
From what I've heard about this case, there is strong evidence that this is a case of self defense.

Jeff, I don't know who you are ,but I see that you are from Eau Claire Wi. as I am also. Norris was my husband at one time. Due to certain things, the marriage did not last,it had ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with violence of any sort,it just didn't work out ,as alot of marriages don't for some reason or another.
I have heard that Mr. Lancaster had other motives for going to Norris house that day.Who knows, maybe he had plans and they backfired. People can say what they want, just so they can get pity, all I know is that Norris did not fail the lie dectector test, as the girlfriend failed hers.
I am not on Norris's side simply because I am his former wife and mother of his children, but because I know this man to be a decent person. And forget about the fact that his brother in law is the Sheriff of Garret County, there were no special favors given here, if that were the case, then Norris wouldn't have been charged with aything.PERIOD!
Thank you for looking at it from a neutral point of view.

well he did get out earlier than he was supposed to so he could die at home, funny david did'nt get that choice.he has been seen at a local bar by people i trust, that is a direct violation of his probation, that has been ignored.as for my brothers drug use his toxicology report came back negative, just alcohol. i hope for your sake ma'am that you never have to deal with some asshole murdering your kids and people accusing you of wanting pity.he was to get 18 months on a 10 year suspension,if caught breaking his probation he is to serve his time, however he was released early do to health problems,he was seen just 1 week ago in the picture of health.there were favors done.lisa welch said her self that norris was in no danger.i do not believe that he pulled the trigger,i do believe he helped that no good bitch get away with murder,so he is still GUILTY. the mortition told me that there was marks on his back from being dragged and that his hair was full of mud and blood, and that he would testify to that.we were told that was inadmisable.....hear say, what a crock.favos were done
