Police Seek Answers in Tree Top Mystery
Officials are baffled over why someone would cut off the tops of nearly a dozen evergreen trees belonging to a man near Bismarck.

Obvious...One of his neighbors, projecting a future loss of a view/sun, cut the tops off. It happens all the time. People plant trees with no concerns regarding the future losses of scenery/sun that their neighbors will experience.
