Hey Paul you sound like a pretty big redneck. Why don't you get off the couch and try to make a difference in your less then exciting state of Wisconsin. Oh yeah, you can also quit crying about Brett Favre leaving, for he's happy now in a real STATE!

I've been gone for more the 40 years, but I still tell people it's where I grew up. The NG pictures brought back a lot of memories. Sometimes you don't realize what you had untill it's gone. Sometimes I think I should have gone back just to raise my kid in a better environment.

I imagine the quality of people in North Dakota not unlike the good people of Minnesota not so long ago. It probably is a very decent state to reside in. MSP are going into a mult-pc-culti sh(t holes. Heck, I may move up there.

hmm, well to all the people who are on nat geo's side... stay there, we don't want you here anyway. North and South Dakota are the best kept secrets. Why do you think the Black Hills were confiscated? We have alot to offer. Just not to you. To all my fellow North Dakotans; live it up. someday they will invade after they pollute their habitat. breathe in the fresh, clean air, then laugh as you think about the smog or garbage the city folk are probably smelling, while they thank god for air freshner. Who cares what a national geographic reporter wrote, they obviously did pay cuts.

I finally read the NG article and didn't think it was offensive. Instead, I saw a rich history of the land and and the people who tried to tame it. Their hard work and struggle is part of the homesteader's story and we should all remember.

Why do we care what the people in la la land think? The Dakota's, MN, Neb, etc. know what we are and what we have. That's why we love the good old snow storms.- Keeps the "rif-raf" out.
That's why WE are laughing!!

Room to roam that's for sure. Me, I like bright lights and blonde-haired women over piano music and martini's, all stirred and shaken.:)

Strange, exotic state. Made for mystery stories about being stranded in a town on the interstate in winter when there's an ongoing series of deaths in the town. Call it "North Dakota Gothic."

Excuse me, you have no idea what you are saying. I would have to say North Dakotan's are the most friendliest in the whole USA. Have you even been there? I am from North Dakota, and wish I still lived there, however my husband does not like the cold. No, North Dakota does not have a heavy population, but what does that matter? I LOVE NORTH DAKOTA!

I am wondering if it is worth the $50.00 a yr to get more information on the NDIC site?
I have 2 wells at the time, and hope to have 8 more wells in the future. I do like to follow the goings on with my wells and future wells, so do you all believe it is worth $50.00 a yr? How much more information will I be able to find? Thanks so much. Ardis
