The Bartel Cocaine Case Keeps Expanding

This was a pretty rough crowd Betty hung with. Are ALL her ties with them severed?
"Dr. William Bartel has already pleaded guilty and faces ten years in prison. Federal Bureau of Investigation agents found 81 pounds of cocaine in his home. Dr. Bartel will be a government witness. He'll need protection until the case is over and perhaps for the rest of his life. The FBI says there are two other men in the case. They, too, probably will be government witnesses against the rogue border patrolmen suspected of lifting cocaine from smugglers and selling it around the state. It's become common knowledge that Dr. Bartel came to the FBI's attention only after he was seen meeting with two men who have fascinating murder-trial backgrounds. They are Mitch Singer and Stan Akers Jr. Singer is a former restaurant operator. At one time, Singer ran three restaurants, two on Central Avenue in Phoenix and another in Scottsdale. Singer closed them during the early Eighties when he went into bankruptcy. Singer's sister, Elana, was murdered by her husband, Steve Steinberg, who admitted stabbing her 26 times with a carving knife." http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/1989-06-28/new... |

1 Obviously you are a disturbed person. You're like a monkey whacking off at the zoo. |

1 Hey, it's the headline of the article. I know, I know - it's all "old news." But a number of new-timers to Bisbee might not have known about it. Now, they do. |

Investigative? No. More of a refresher course. And something to bring the newbies up to speed. |

I'm curious about why you seem so *obsessed* with that question. Does it have anything to do with your tastes in sexual, or interpersonal relationships? It has to be something that *really* interests you. The other day you were asking about my plumbing, and on a large number of other occasions you seemed to be *extremely* interested in my breasts.
This sort of thing is not really proper material for public conversations, you know, over and above the more practical consideration that it is none of your damn business. Of course, as such a 'Manly Man' yourself, you might want to add some new gender issues to your current pus-bucket of personal insults. |
Beause it gets a rise outta you, and you then write long-winded posts, like the one you just wrote. You are very easily manipulated. |
|
That's rich Eric. It's you who's being manipulated, you're just too stupid and obsessed to know it. What happened to your Jeff Harris obsession? Are you only able to obsess on one person at a time??? |

1 Jeff is yesterday's news. He's OFF the P&Z, and he stands NO chance of winning a seat on the city council. |

1 BTW, is that kinda like when Betty and Callahan and Bartels were cooperating? |

1 [irony] Why no,'yawn', he seems perfectly normal to me.(wink, wink, nudge, nudge) It's just that he has so much really important *STUFF* to say to us that he has to break up his posts into a lot of segments, so we can get the full flavor of his thinking. By using the clever ploy of seeming to talk to himself, he is simply presenting other contrasting or complementary ideas. It's all done in an effort to help us understand. You just haven't put yourself into the proper, adulatory mood before reading his posts. [/irony] |

1 I am optimistic that the undecided with go with Jack Whetstone. Clean as a whistle slate, down to earth, already an eager learner about the political ins and outs of Bisbee, educated, friendly, willing to work for the people. Betty is a flake, only the people with dubious backgrounds will vote for her because they are tainted themselves. |

1 I'm not a fan of Jack Porter's but I hope he's smart enough to be aware of what one of his big fans is doing here. And to be fair to Porter I honestly don't think he'd condone this sort of thing at all. This isn't helping anyone. |
