Hoover Mayor Gary Ivey holds out hope the city will one day get a hospital
Hoover Mayor Gary Ivey said today he is pleased that Hoover is set to gain two free-standing emergency rooms in the next 1 A1 2 years, but he's still holding out hope the city can one day get a full hospital.

Hospitals beds will decrease with health care reform and will no longer be as profitable as reimbursements decrease. Also the new Trinity on 280 while technically in Birmingham can service the 280 Hoover area. Ivery must be smoking weed as he blows smoke and mirrors.
