Sure wish it wasn't true ,but for the grand jury to indict him there must be something there. Man how could these people do this to these children. The emotional scars will be with them forever. There are some very strong and demonic generational curses out there that lead seemingly good people do these god forsaken acts on kids. If he is guilty I pray he will confess and save this child from further damage and take the punishment that is given to him. God speaks of wrath for ones who harm the children.

I'm wondering the same...isn't it funny that when things of this nature happen here, in Blunt County, especially when it involves one of the good ole boys, everything is very hush-hush?

The Jefferson County DA's office handled that because Tommy Rountree had recused the office prior to Pamela Casey being elected. My understanding is that he pled guilty to that charge. He is currently on probation.

So, there you have it.

probation???? what a crock of %$#@ let someone who isn't an official and see how much time they get, just because you are someone that works for the government does not mean you get a lesser sentence, you should get the max time without a jury. you know the laws and break them like everyone else. who made you above any other man. equal rights for all man what one man gets so shall the other.

This was before DA Pamela Casey was took office. If she had been in there I'm sure it would have gone the other way. I watched her fry a local man for abusing his daughter, under the age of 12. He will never see the outside of a jail cell thanks to Casey's excellent work.

I contacted the Blount County DA's office, Pamela Casey, to find the status of this. That is my post of May 22. You may contact the Jefferson Co. DA's office for an official report. Would love to see it.

You can go to the Alabama Dept of Public Safety website and look up sex offenders in Blount County. There is his ugly old mug and details listed. He basically got a slap on the wrist.

No you are wrong they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. They are suppose to know better. And to be here for us. Not take advantage of their position. This is a crock but it happens in every county.

There is a saying among lawyers that you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, so I would withhold judgment until a trial is done. We wouldn't want an innocent sandwich to be condemned. Ham sandwiches are a force for good; so are innocent people.

Why do people always store %$#@ in their crocks instead of their septic tanks?

I think you meant to say he got off with a slap on the pecker.
