In September, we sent in the payment with the renewal notice to renew our vehicle tags. About the same time, Jefferson County laid off most of the county employees. We never got out tag stickers, and since I travel out of state, I have gotten 2 tickets for expired tags.
I need to find the articles where it was said that we would be given an extension for renewing the tags.
I need something I can fax or e-mail to the law enforcement agencies that ticketed my vehicle to clear this up.
