Yoko was in the shadow of Beatle John that her true greatness as an artist was largely overlooked. But that will all change now. Her new work: Piles Of Dirt is simple, bold expression of the finest in modern art. It is true genius.

i just saw it. It is beautifully profound and makes a strong statement. Blood sister, disregard the prior post from the Keystone drinking oaf. His art is the dish that brings him the cable sports channels.

Anne...I guess you cannot appreciate the art that is "the dish". The gentle curves and ideal symmetry. The perfect balance between form and function is truly awe inspiring. As the flower beckons the honeybee to it's nectar, so too does the dish beckons the electromagnetic spectrum. Turning the seeminlgy chaotic and random digital noise into wonderous images and sounds capable of eliciting the entire range of emotions. From love to hate, inspiration to apathy; joy to sorrow, knowlege to ignorance and the profound to the esoteric. This wonderful piece of art is capable of effecting these emotions regardless of race, age, nationality, gender, gender identity, religion and socio economic condition. Futhermore, this work can turn the complex, simple and the simple, complex.

Yet you denigrate "the dish". A work only realized through visionary genius of the artists, in favor of three piles of dirt that any gardener could accidently make with a shovel and a wheelbarrow.

Elegant. Only someone of Yoko Ono's considerable talent could turn simple dirt mounds into a great artistic accomplishment. Bravo. Not since Warhol as such a grand vision taken place

geez...you better not see the dirt in person....you are apt to become overwelmed and your tears will turn the dirt piles to mud.

Plus, she is leading in the battle against the gas industry. You have to respect her for that. With her busy schedule, she still makes the time to stand up for upstate New Yorkers. What a debt of gratitude I owe her for protecting my babies.

I think what we're seeing is an example of the "infinite monkey theorem"... which says that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter for an infinite amount of time will almost surely ( eventually ) correctly type a given text such as the complete works of William Shakespeare...

In this case though it was the user of the Kerri G id instead of monkeys... a computer instead of a typewriter... and the use of the "racy" icon instead of Shakespeare...

;-)

What is an accomplishment to you Kerri, this witch broke up the Band called the Beatles, she is a witch like you, she put the happiness of a warm gun into the hands of Mark David Chapmen to kill him.

Paul McCartney died during the SGT Pepper recording. He was replaced by a Beatle imitator named William Shears. Mr. Shears had a bigger chin than the original Paul and went through numerous operations. Lennon was fed up keeping the secret and was about to tell the truth so he was shot.
