Well it is about time...
Maybe they can finally hold the folks responsible for all that faulty phase III work to task... since it did cost the tax payers millions upon millions of dollars... and the shoddy construction is now going to cost tens of millions more to correct !

More financial oversight at the sewage treatment plant, huh????
Maybe a good place to start would be putting somebody on the finance committee who was not disbarred by the NYS Bar Association for three years for “keeping”$35,000 of his client’s money as was Ryan appointee Ed Crumb who sits on the sewage board of directors and its finance committee? That’s sort of like Ryan appointing bankrupt Patricia Schwartz as City Treasurer. Remember her, she embezzled $17,000 or so from the City of Binghamton but won’t spend a day in jail and didn’t even have to repay it all.
Come to think of it, Ed Crumb was never prosecuted for “keeping” his clients money either.
Yup, financial oversight, that sure would be nice….

Matter of Crumb
Matter of Crumb 2009 NY Slip Op 07736 [66 AD3d 1323] October 29, 2009 Appellate Division, Third Department Published by New York State Law Reporting Bureau pursuant to Judiciary Law § 431. As corrected through Wednesday, December 9, 2009
In the Matter of Edward F. Crumb, a Suspended Attorney, Respondent. Committee on Professional Standards, Petitioner.
—[*1] Mark S. Ochs, Committee on Professional Standards, Albany (Michael G. Gaynor of counsel), for petitioner.
Per Curiam. Respondent was admitted to practice by the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, in 1981. He maintained a law office in the City of Binghamton, Broome County. He is currently suspended from practice (Matter of Crumb, 50 AD3d 1310 ).
Respondent has not answered or otherwise replied to a petition of charges or to petitioner's instant motion for a default judgment, both of which were personally served upon him. In support of its motion, petitioner has filed proof by affidavit of the facts constituting the alleged misconduct. Under the circumstances, respondent is deemed to have admitted the charges and we grant petitioner's motion (see e.g. Matter of Lucas, 32 AD3d 1150 ).
Further, based on such admission and the proof submitted by petitioner, we find respondent guilty of the charged misconduct.
The petition alleges that respondent failed to notify his clients of his receipt of funds in the amount of $35,000 in which the clients had an interest and failed to remit funds belonging to his clients [*2]in violation of the attorney disciplinary rules (see Code of Professional Responsibility DR 9-102 [c],[22 NYCRR 1200.46 (c)(1),(4)]);[FN*] failed to cooperate with petitioner (see Code of Professional Responsibility DR 1-102 [a], and DR 9-102 [j][22 NYCRR 1200.3 (a)(5),(7); 1200.46 (j)]); and failed to comply with the April 2008 suspension order of this Court (see Code of Professional Responsibility DR 1-102 [a][22 NYCRR 1200.3 (a)(5)]; 22 NYCRR 806.9).
Having considered the factors and circumstances presented, we conclude that respondent should be suspended from the practice of law for a period of three years, effective immediately.
Cardona, P.J., Peters, Rose, Lahtinen and Malone Jr., JJ., concur.
BUT YET MATT RYAN THINKS CRUMB SHOULD BE HANDLING MILLIONS IN TAXPAYER DOLLARS AT THE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT!

In the other thread - we've all already seen that you think the entire Schwartz thing is something that is currently happening... and in your own words - think the sentencing isn't going to occur until July of this year...
Seeing as that is actually something that the sane people know happened back in 2010 and 2011... I think we can all safely ignore your constant frothing at the mouth about that situation...
Why don't you try some honesty... that is to say - instead of spamming sites with your comments about him trying to give the impression that he was disbarred then appointed by Ryan... admit he was first appointed to the board / presented himself in January 2007... then take a look at the documents you're posting...
Speaking of honesty... kudos on letting everyone know that "Ed Crumb was never prosecuted" i.e. despite your posts often presenting it as a criminal case... good job on that !
Now as for the question about whether he is the most honest person on the planet... well everyone knows he is / was a lawyer... which imho answers that question quite quickly... and as such - I don't think we need you spamming your fantasies about Crumb all over the local sites...

Poor Michael, spin, spin spin...
The links you posted state Schwartz pleaded guilty and will be sentenced in July. We all know it is not this upcoming July and that she has already been sentenced. In reports AFTER that July they state she will repay about $9000 of the $17,000 she stole and that she will only get probation and no jail time.
So, again Patricia Schwartz, former bankrupt City Treasurer appointed by Matt Ryan stole $17000 of taxpayer money and she will not repay all of t and she will not do any jail time.
Everybody gets that except you Michael. If you have ANY REPORTS dated AFTER her July 2011 (or 2010) sentencing sayng she repaid all the money she stole or did jall time please post it.
As for Crumb, if the NYS Bar did not trust him with $35,000 of his clients’ money why did Matt Ryan appoint him to oversee MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars????
It makes no sense, Michael, much like you.
Finally, why do you spend so much time defending these thieves and dishonest, unethical individuals? What’s the point? Do you approve of these scumbags? Are you a scumbag yourself?

I understand that when a Trustee from Johnson City lost his seat because of being an idiot that, the mayor appointed him to a seat on the board for the sewage treatment plant. Also another idiot named Kolba is or was on the board. I don't know what it takes to be appointed but, it appears that you just have to know someone and it doesn't matter if you know what you are doing or not. Kolba inheirited his business from his father which is never a good thing and Kolba proved it when he thought that he could take property from the taxpayers of J.C. and use it for his own personal business because he was too dumb to run it the right way. He has been shot down many times since then when he runs for a position on the J.C. Village board. With the track record of at least these two individuals, what the hell makes anyone think they are the right people for those jobs. All of those crooks on the board of the sewage treatment plant should face charges and spend some time in jail.

In fact everyone saw what an utter tool you are in the following thread:
Just a reminder but in that one you kept going on how you found two PSB articles about Schwartz this past January... where they appeared to contradict each other - because YOU thought it was talking about something that was going on currently...
You've also been provided links to a half dozen articles about the situation... that clearly stated the plea deal was ( among other things ) for her to repay the full amount...
It is kind of funny watching you accuse others of trying to "spin" things when a quick check of your posts here and elsewhere make it painfully apparent that you're completely clueless...

Poor Michael, it has been proven to you over and over again that for some reason somebody at Press & Sun-Bulletin CHANGED THE DATE OF THE STORY FROM ITS ARCHVES AND REPOSTED IT DATED JAN 6, 2013.
Again, Michael here it is, you can do a search on the Press & Slum-Bull yourself, simply enter the word Schwartz and you will see this:
Former Binghamton treasurer pleads guilty to larceny
Jan 6, 2013 | Dooling, Nancy ... internal city investigation revealed inconsistencies in record-keeping. By pleading guilty, Schwartz admitted to stealing property valued at more than $1,000, under state statutes. Schwartz will be sentenced July ...
The PSB changed the date to Jan. 6, 2013 and then said she will be sentenced in July. It is wrong.
The question still remains why do you insist on defending the embezzler of taxpayer funds?
And why is a guy who was disbarred for keeping $35,000 of his clients money now handling millions of taxpayer dollars at the sewage treatment plant?

You're right that it looks like one of the admins for the Gannett sites messed up and some old articles from 2010 etc. got popped to the top... and you thought it was current news...
Then you pull some of your normal antics... trying to pretend that you knew what you were talking about... posted on various sites and in various threads about your outrage about the situation... while all the sane users just kind of sat around snickering at you - at your expense - while you verified your position as a complete idiot...
Just a day ago you were STILL saying it was all still up in the air until the sentencing in July... LOL !!!
Now why don't you get a life you tool and stop making an idiot and annoyance out of yourself in public...
#10 Feb 2, 2013
Michael, do you have a life?????
Doesn't look like it. You made up a family you don't have. You spent New Years Eve posting from 11PM to 2AM, dredging up old threads. Pathetic.
What I wrote perhaps a day ago, perhaps a month ago was that you have no proof to back up a single one of your claims regarding Schwartz. The most up to date article about her, the only one that appears to have been written AFTER her sentencing says she did no jail time and will repay only $9000 of the $17,000 she stole. But again, if you have an article written AFTER she was sentenced that says anything different, let us know.
My original post, I’ll go get it for you, stated simply The Press & Slum-Bull screwed up again and contradicted itself.
Not only did they somehow change the date of the old article but for some reason on Jan. 6, they day after they ran a story stating Schwartz did not get jail time they posted the old story to their home page.
None of that still explains why Ed Crumb who was disbarred for keeping his clients’ money is handling millions of taxpayer dollars at a public utility.

You mean the year before last...
That's when I was at a party with friends who knew about you e.g. your threats to harass my business clients and my family members... and knew about your prior arrest and plea deal on harassment, drug and gun charges... and knew about your other prior run-ins with the law...
So between using our laptops to Skype friends / family that weren't there... we were pulling up some of your more insane posts on the Gannett site(s) and making fun of you and your threats aimed at everyone and everything... you remember - it was a worldwide conspiracy against you that you thought / think I lead... so you were going to get everyone but especially me... lol !!!
You really did go off the deep end after that... especially after I let you post a bunch of times that you KNEW that I was home on New Years... and then I posted some of my receipts from out of state ( where the party was ) showing what a moron you were / are...
Thanks for reminding me... and I'm going to send a link to your post up there to some of the folks that were at the party... as I'm sure they're find it as funnya s I do...

Here it is yet ANOTHER quote from ANOTHER article dated AFTER her sentencing:
"Former City of Binghamton Treasurer Patricia Schwartz was sentenced in August in Broome County Court to five years probation after she pleaded guilty in April to one felony count of fourth-degree grand larceny.
Schwartz admitted in court to stealing property valued at more than $1,000 while she worked for the city. Schwartz was also sentenced to pay the money back and work weekends in jail for two months."
Btw - will you be posting retractions to the many posts you've made filled with false information now... you know - where among other things you posted claims that she didn't have to pay ANY of it back i.e. in your own words - "didn’t even have to repay it all" ?
I mean - it won't make you any less of an imbecile but it would be the proper and decent thing to do...
#13 Feb 3, 2013
Poor pathetic Michael.
First, your posts above confirms Patricia Schwartz did not get any jail time.
Secondly, you have no proof whatsoever of the date of your article. Nothing to suggest when it was written other than saying she was sntenced in August when it was supposed to be July.
You seem to have combined two or three articles to created your falsehoods. If that is not the case post the link to the article you quoted.
Keep in mind the Jan 5 article said she would repay only about $9000.
And, as always, the question is why are you defending the thief?
#14 Feb 3, 2013
You're correct that it looks like you saw much more jail time for your arrest than she did for hers...
But of course your claim has consisted of spamming a bunch of threads claiming she didn't have to pay back any of the money i.e. didn’t even have to repay it all"... and you were / are being correct for posting those erroneous items...
It was a single article from early 2012... and just fyi - unlike you - the majority of the other users on this site aren't chronic liars... and they / I have no idea to lie about the dates of an article or do one of your routines and try to combine two or more articles and claim it was a single one... or any of the other bs you're known to pull...
The Jan 5th article that got popped to the top on a Gannett site due to an admin error... that you then read and thought it was talking about a current event... then went on a rampage spamming sites with your opinions about it... while the rest of us sat on our computers reading your insane posts and laughing at your stupidity...
Dude... you're a failure, a liar and a moron.
#15 Feb 8, 2013
You still cannot produce a link to any article to support your claims can you?
And why are you defending the embezzler again?
#16 Feb 8, 2013
Poor delusional Michael, seems to forget, or prefers to ignore the title of thread is about tightening financial oversight at the Binghamton sewage treatment plant, the irony that the guy in charge of the finance committee, Ed Crumb, was disbarred for three years for keeping money from his legal clients. But Ryan the Fool puts him in charge of millions of dollars in taxpayer money.
You want more financial oversight? Get rid of the guy who kept his clients’ money and was disbarred!!!!!
#17 Feb 8, 2013
Already provided multiple times...
It's not my fault you're a moron...

I am to!
#20 Feb 10, 2013
Ed is not responsible for the mismanagement of the sewage treatment plant. Ed is simply stating a fact.
Mayor Doofus Ryan and nitwits like Teri Rennia are responsible for the sewage treatment plant and a number of other Binghamton woes. The scary thing is Teri Rennia could become the next Mayor.
I doubt Binghamton would survive four years of of Rennia after Ryan's "leadership."
Since: Nov 12
#21 Feb 10, 2013
Me state a fact? That is too funny!
I like to blame Ryan for mismanagement of a project that was shoddily constructed by a previous administration. It would cost about the same to fix it whether it collapsed or not, and coming up with 60 million and fixing it within three weeks would be impossible, but that is Ryan's fault because I say so.
I also like to blame Ryan for the worldwide economic collapse that hurt every state, county and city in the nation. No matter who was mayor the city would have suffered but it is all Ryan's fault because I say so.
After all these years I am still angry that Ryan stole my girlfriend and anything bad that happens in this area no matter who is in office will be Ryan's fault. Because I say so.
No facts or logic will make me think otherwise.
