Awesome memories - went to Copperfields all the time. Remember my husband and I spending our 5th anniversary at the Owego Treadway just to hear Four O'Clock in 1986. Hear songs on the oldies channels that remind me of their great music. Miss those days.

I remember you, Steve! It has been a very long time! I run into Alyn every once in awhile. I contacted Marshall through MYSpace a few years ago.

I just stumbled upon this thread so don't know if anyone is still following it. I played with Steve in four o'clock... the first half of 1975, and we even roomed together on the road. Hope all is well, Steve! Www.joeroma.net

I remember the 4 O'Clock Collection very well. I used to date John Owen's brother. I still have my gray pinstriped suit with the vest & big lapels that I used to wear when we went out dancing in 1976. Boy did "Muskrat Love" get tiring to listen to after awhile. But, I still never get tired of Paul McCartney's "Baby I'm Amazed".

The name of the place with the "knights theme" and half circle stage was originally called King Arthur's and it was next to the Endicott Inn on Washington Avenue in Endicott. It became The Manor, then Romolo's for many years. It's empty now, but there was a dance club there for a while too (Club Elante).

Holy Let's-wait-a-year-to-reply! Hows life? I have that photo of us all made up. Been wondering how you guys were getting on. After all the replies that did not recall my tenure in 4 O'Clock, I didn't come back to this. Have you kept in contact with the other guys? Cool to hear of your tenure in the Collection. I'm working with a event production company handling the audio and repair end of things, not playing anymore. I may get out your way one day with the wife to show her my old stomping grounds.
Still looking to connect with Alyn, Sandy and Ricky in the older iteration.

Do you remember which club you saw us at? It will help shake the years of dust off the memory banks.

Yes, that's it! Tiny little stage and our 5-piece band and gear left us with precious little room to move but we enjoyed playing there.

Joe Roma... yes! How could I forget? I have tapes of us when we recorded demos in Marshalls basement. You sang You Gotta Move by Gino Vanelli. And we tried to have an actual brass section in that song. Wasn't quite ready for prime time. What a blast those days were. How are ya doing?

Mostly the Ramada in the club The Cabaret. You might remember me better if I mention that I used to date Dale, so I was at many of the clubs that you played at.

I remember all of the members of 4 O'clock Collection. I sat in many times with them and later worked with Ron Emerick in No Compromise. I sang with "Taste of Sin" which became "Discovery" during that time. There was a great local club circuit for 4 O'clock, Discovery, Trix, Masterpiece, Jon David's Mood and other bands. Lebar, The Courtyard/Cabaret (Ramada Inn), Stage Door, Copperfields, Beau Jon's, Silver Dollar, Scotch and Sirloin, King Arturs, The Lodge, Owego Treadway etc. All good memories from what I can remember. We used to play 6-7 nights a week....Not any more!!

Well - I'm the next to stumble in...
I took over for Joe Roma on drums in 1975. In the band at that time were Marshal, Alyn, Dale (on trumpet), Sandy, and Steve. Marshal's wife was running lights and sound until they broke up in 1976.
Except for a couple of picnics at Alyns house, I never really kept in touch with the band after I left. I always admired Alyn for keeping the group going for so long. I think I've got some tapes somewhere in the "vault" of some of our shows. Lots of good memories with those folks.
