Of those running, Rich David is the most qualified. His resume puts Teri Rennia's to shame!!!

Rich David began his career of service to the City of Binghamton as a television journalist for the Southern Tier’s number one CBS affiliate, WBNG-TV Channel 12, in 1998. He enjoyed writing, reporting, and producing in-depth and cutting edge reports to inform viewers of news occurring in their community. During his tenure at WBNG, David developed a great appreciation for the region and established many working relationships with Binghamton residents.

David was eager to focus his energy on the City of Binghamton when he was invited to join former Mayor Richard Bucci’s administration in April of 2000. He began his tenure at the City of Binghamton as the Mayor’s Director of Community Relations. In this role, David handled all media and communication operations for Mayor Bucci and the departments within City Hall. He also handled a variety of constituent matters and worked on a number of community initiatives.

David was soon promoted to Deputy Mayor, the highest position on the Mayor’s administrative team. As Deputy Mayor, David’s responsibilities included assisting the Mayor in supervising day-to-day operations in City Hall and acting as a liaison between the Mayor’s Office and City Council on crafting and enacting legislation. David also worked with the Mayor on developing the City’s budget and worked with a team to identify cost-saving strategies. David also worked with department heads to promote economic development. He also helped to form the Downtown Binghamton Business Association and worked closely with downtown business owners on retaining, expanding, and recruiting businesses. For his service to Binghamton, David was awarded the Key to the City in 2005.

After leaving City Hall, Rich David joined the executive management team at Broome Community College as the college’s Public Affairs Officer. Upon arriving at the college, David reorganized the Public Affairs Office to promote the college in a new and creative way. David now leads an office that is responsible for the success of many progressive higher education marketing and public relations initiatives that have brought state-wide and national recognition to the college and the community. David led his team to receive over a dozen regional and national awards within the past year alone. Both the previous and current interim BCC presidents have supported David and applauded his accomplishments. Through his role at the college, David continues to work with elected officials and the community on issues concerning higher education and BCC’s role in the Binghamton region.

Rich David continues to develop his relationships with community leaders, businesses, and residents through his own corporation, Confluence Enterprises, Inc. David started this company in 2006 as a result of his commitment to serve the community. The corporation’s primary mission is investing in the City of Binghamton.

In the short time since Confluence Enterprises was founded, more than $800,000 in private funds have been invested in the City of Binghamton. To date, initiatives include the purchase and complete interior/exterior renovation of 45 Court Street, the purchase of Flashbacks on State Street, and the purchase of Terra Cotta Catering, also on State Street, which saved the business from closing and prevented dozens of jobs from being eliminated. As President of Confluence Enterprises, Rich David is also in the process of identifying other investment opportunities in Binghamton that will have a lasting impact on our community.

Rich David received his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Binghamton University. He also received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Communications from St. John Fisher College in Rochester.

Of course if that were true... then it just makes it oh so much unfortunate that - according to Arzouian - he also happens to be such a horrible liar...

Thankfully there are 3 other people running for the position of Mayor !

I noticed that Rich David refers to himself as a businessman. If Rich David is such a "sucessful" businessman, then why does he hold a taxpayer funded job at BCC?

No one that took $271,000.00 in Obama stimulus money for a bar, like Rich David did for Flashbacks, will carry the Republican base.

http://projects.propublica.org/recovery/item/...

Rich David needs not only a taxpayer funded, politically appointed no show job at Broome Community College, he also needs public loans in excess of a quarter million dollars to prop up a bar he very publicly boasted was all privately financed?

Even after receiving all that money Rick David had over $12,000 in tax liens.

He should have done the smart thing and stayed out of the race. He is just embarrassing himself further.

You don't have to hold back on your opinion about Rich David accepting that stimulus money... tell us what you really think of him...

Geoff took his one ball and went home. He's praying to Obama for a full pair. If you would like to contribute to the Balls for Geoff Fund, please send as much as you have in your bank account to Magic Hopey-Changey, c/o The White House.

So you're saying you have a personal knowledge of and interest in the genitalia of other male forum users - or - is this simply another of your fantasies / online foray into homoeroticism ?!

Either way and just an observation... way too much information on your part.

At what age did your latent homosexual desires start to become noticeable? Is this something you have been suppressing your whole life?

Is your apparent cognitive really as low as your obvious emotional age i.e. somewhere in the range of an elementary school child...

Or do you have drug issues and that is why you're now fixated on writing about valium ?!

Just curious...

Your addiction is obvious, both sexual and drug. Pray to Obama that your special ed. teacher promotes you anyway. Then pray to Rev. Wright for a twenty-year memory lapse so that you will not remember any of your sordid past.

Pray to Obama for a more efficient and accurate route; then pray to Snooki for a chance with the Situation. Lastly, pray to Mikey for a chance with the valium queen. LOL

Considering all the drug and other stuff / fantasies he keeps posting tonight... and seeing how his posts today are gibberish / lunatic rantings i.e. more so than usual...

I'm actually guessing he what is going on is that he is drunk and / or stoned out of his mind again...
