I have a problem with the schools who teach the Jewish culture but will not allow the teaching of the Christian culture especially at Christmastime. Teaching one culture is wrong. All cultures should be taught to give the students the reality of how each culture observes God. Last year my child came home from public school to explain to me how the Jews survived 8 days on one days supply of oil. They also brought home a dradle. We are a Christian family and do not need to learn about Jewish culture if the school district will not teach about the Christian culture. I am speaking of public schools and I realize that this topic was about JCC but, I just had to rant.

If they want to teach Jewish culture, then they should move to Israel.
