No - I know what happened...

He has been copying full articles from Gannett sites and reposting them around the Internet... so complaints have been made and take down notices sent... along with requests that the site(s) in question provide information as to the IP address etc. that the thief used...

It is pretty simple on Jan. 5 the Press & Slum said Schwartz was sentenced and got probation and did't even have to repay the full $17,000 she stole. On Jan. 6 they had an article that said Schwartz was not sentenced and would be in July.

Which is it?

You must be pretty simple Ed Arzouian if this something you feel you need to concern yourself with.

Let's apply some logic...

Could it be that she was sentenced to repay what she hadn't already i.e. between the time of her arrest and her hearing... and that's why the amount on record that she has ( remaining ) to pay back is less than the total $17K...?

Could it be that she did something you're familiar with doing i.e. struck a plea deal... perhaps based on her attempts to repay what she stole... and part of the deal is being sentenced to repayment of the remaining amount within a certain time period and probation... and at the next hearing, if she met the terms of the deal the current sentence would stay in place... while if she didn't then additional or a re-sentencing would be made...

I mean... that's what jumps to mind when I read those stories... but considering that you've run around to various Internet sites spamming them with that post of yours... you have, of course, checked all the facts...?

Right ?!

Of course, Michael's attempt at an explanation completely misses the point.

On Jan. 5 the Press & Sulum-Bull said Schwartz had already been sentenced.

The next day the Press & Slum-Bull posts an article that sys she will be sentence in July.

How or why did the Press & Slum-Bull do that?

As usual Michelle the windbag misses the point.

Plea deals almost always have conditions tied to them...

For theft that condition is almost always repayment within a certain time frame... after that time period expires the court will have another review / hearing... and if conditions are met - the deal is set in stone e.g. probation in the case you're spamming the sites about... or they are sentenced / re-sentenced as though no deal were made...

You should know this from when you made your plea deal on the Internet Harassment and other charges you were hit with due to your behavior after your failed bid to become a journalist...

Anyway...

I do agree that the articles could have provided more information... but I find it amusing to see you spam this and other sites so many times declaring that you believe the information in the article(s) is faulty - then repeating that information as though it were correct and using that premise as the rationale behind more of your spam...

Now do you understand why I and others find your behavior strange and funny ?

Poor delusional Michael and his speculation.

Here is what the firsrt report said:

"Schwartz was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay back $9,429 of the total amount she stole."

Pretty specific, she was ordered to pay back $9429 of what she stole.

Can it be any clearer????

But still none of that explans why the Press & Slum-Bull, the very next day said she would be sentenced in July.

Actually here are some questions:

a) Does Dooling still work as PSB since that is the person that the story is attributed to... because I see no recent stories by her...

b) Do you know the date when Schwartz was arrested i.e. in August of 2010

c) Do you realize the article you are referencing ( 1st one ) is by Dooling and also talks about Schwartz pleading guilty the previus Thursday which was about 8 months after the arrest... i.e. the story you are posting is from 2011... not 2013.

With those items and others in mind... and I mean the following in the most sincere manner possible... you're a moron.

Here is another question...

You have already admitted that you really know nothing about the case other than what you read in PSB... and it's clear that you were clueless that you were reading articles displayed on their site that are years old and mis-ordered - probably due to some system admin doing a typo in their database...

But...

Did it cross your mind that in addition to the possibility of a plea with ongoing repayment being made ( and the amount quoted just being what was left at the time to repay )... that there are many other possibilities... for example she could have had vacation and sick time accrued that the city didn't pay out to her and instead applied to the amount she owed...

But of course by your own admission you don't know -well- much of anything... but don't let that stop you from spamming the local sites...

:-P

P.S. Here is a clue for ya "As part of her plea deal, Schwartz has agreed to pay restitution of nearly $17,000. She's scheduled to be sentenced in July." which kinda indicates the other story's amount was the amount she had left to pay at the time it was written... lol !!!

Here is another quote from a PSB story:

"Schwartz was also sentenced to pay the money back and work weekends in jail for two months."

Here is one from another site:

"Schwartz has agreed to pay the city $17,000 in restitution as part of her plea arrangement.

An investigation was initiated after employees saw problems in her record keeping.

She was arrested last August.

She’s scheduled to be sentenced in July."

But yeah... as I said before...

Keep spamming all the local sites... making clear to everyone that you don't have a clue what you're talking about... and that you're too darn lazy to get off your fat a** off the couch and do a bit of your own research i.e. it took me all of two minutes to find out that information.

The date on the Dooling story was Jan. 6 2013 when last posted by the PSB. It was on the current sesarch, not in the archives......

Why did they repost the story?

You have not posted any dates or links with your other references.

Here is the latest reference:

First off:

http://www.pressconnects.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar...

If you look at the date it is Apr 14, 2011 in the search listing. It is only when you click on / follow the link that it shows the erroneous date.

So it's just a suggestion but perhaps you should "DO THE SESRCH YOURSELF" and actually pay attention to the results before rusing to click on the links.

Next item is...

Yes there does seem to be a couple of anomalies with their web site - including the display dates on some articles. The thing is though that they ( Gannett itself - not the PSB folks ) contract out almost all of their web site work up to including moderation of the forums they used to have... so if our spammer wanted to complain about something - it should be that third party company instead of what he has been doing...

Last but certainly not least...

Even an individual with just a cursory knowledge of the events would have immediately realized that they were looking at old articles... even if they didn't have any knowledge - a quick Internet search would have clued them in...

Instead our local spammer and resident moron went around to the local sites and as usual - made an idiot out of himself.

Michael,"anomalies on their website"?????

Just admit they screwed up.

It was not only the archives that story was on their home page of Pressconnects.com on Jan.6 the day after the big feature on the city keeping an eye on its cash.

It was not a glitch. Somebody at the PSB changed the date on the story and put it on their pressconnects.com home page.

It directly contradicted the story of the day before.

If it is an error, why hasn't it been corrected?

The questions becomes why?

That is MY point...

Anyone that found that story and read it... could have done a simple search and discovered that the one ( already noted ) was actually published in April 2011...

They would have also discovered with the same basic Internet search that PSB and other news agencies reported that Schwartz made a plea deal... and that they plea deal included repayment of ALL the money she stole and community service and probation...

But instead of doing even a basic check on the information - trying to figure out why the apparent contradiction existed... we get the typical bizarre behavior from BCBL...
If it is an error, why hasn't it been corrected?

That is a good question...

The only reason I can think of that the outsourced maintainers of the Gannett sites haven't corrected it yet... is maybe because they view the small town papers like PSB etc. to be low priority... something they can get away with ignoring for large lengths of time - as long as they do a decent job on the larger / more profitable sites...

That would be my guess... and it is based on what I have seen happen on their forums... the outsourced moderators paid close attention to the forums tied to Gannett papers with large circulation numbers / lots of active Internet users... but it could take weeks to get a threatening post on the PSB forum site removed...
