Charges against ex-prosecutor Gorcyca reinstated

A state attorney discipline board has reinstated professional misconduct charges against former Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca over alleged prejudicial remarks made in a case concerning an Oak Park kindergarten teacher charged with sexually assaulting two students.

The Michigan Supreme Court likely has spurned this reopening of this ethics violation. Gorcyca was a rogue prosecutor manufacturing evidence, violating ethics and much more while he held office. His dirty hands were not unnoticed by the American Bar Association as he was signaled out in national publications for his failures to uphold nationally recognized standards of proof on more than a few occasions. Still he continued.
The three lawyers who dismissed Gorcyca’s ethics investigation were not only flawed in their decision. It demonstrates how the Michigan Bar openly ignores a national standard of conduct and the ethical obligations for all its members. Even more troubling is the appearance of a wide spread corruption within the self-policing Michigan Bar.
If there is justice in Michigan then David Gorcyca will not only lose his license but also face a multiple of federal criminal charges.

He should definitely face federal charges. God only knows how many innocent people are in prison because of him.

What is going on in Oakland County.
I recently protested outside the 6th Circut Courthouse. Prosecutor Beth Hand blantantly lied to Judge Wendy Potts in saying that our group had threatened and harressed the public, nearly hitting them with our signs.
The Judge on the case polled jurors individually who set the record straight that in fact we were very poliet and orderly.
I personally supervised this brief tasteful Ghandi style protest and I am well aquainted and trained in peaceful protest.
She asked for our veiches to be searched and had her lies stuck we would have been thrown in jail and fined $25,000 dollars. This is on Court record.
It sent a shiver right through me to think of such evil in high places , there is no room for liars in the Prosecutor's office.
Beth Hand needs to be removed immediately and charged with making a false report .
Prosecutorial Misconduct falls short of this example of abuse of power and influence.

Tell it like it is Jennifer. Oakland County Proscutors office operates like a three world dicatorship. File a complaint with the Attorney Grievance Commission on Beth Hand or whom you believe is responsible. Likely she will take a complaint to the Attorney Grievance Commission as a joke. Well David Gorcyca thought nothing about all the complaints he was racking up. Until the Michigan Supreme Court finally got tired of him burning up all their time.

Do our Lansing justices a favor, get the ball rolling to get Ms Hand a new attitude. You certainy will be doing everyone in Oakland County a favor. The truth is there is Prosectors worse than Hand so even if Hand gets reeled in there is another to take her place.
