Well, we have the "Food smells better than cigarettes" approach, and the "It's healthier for all" approach, and the "It should be up to the owner" approach, and the "separate areas are enough" approach.
The most stressed concept, though, is the "respect should be enough" approach. This one is utterly laughable, given the nature of the issue.
Addiction trumps respect for others every time, and addiction sacrifices the respect OF others almost as consistently.
At least they didn't make a big deal out of the funding used for the study--a grant from a pharmaceutical company, I believe.
