I've been through both the MSO and the DOC academy and the DOC's is far tougher. Also, don't forget that at the end of the DOC academy there is a very good chance of being assigned to MCI-Cedar Junction, Souza- Baranowski or Concord, real joints, not the Cambridge jail or the BHOC. Don't get me wrong, both MSO joints are staffed with many fine individuals and I worked there with a lot of good, tough officers. The asbestos at the Cambridge Jail does make for a very hazardous environment, but that is play time compared to DOC facilities, especially Walpole.

You are not a SWAT team member, your not a Miami Vice, boat patroling, Deputy Sheriff. Your a Correction Officer, if you realy work for MSO, which I have my doubts.
