I wonder is it true that a Washington, D.C. family was carjacked and robbed near the Racehorse Alley Parking Plaza, Gettysburg, March 30 at 9:45 p.m. Two men wearing gloves and masks brandished firearms and forced a couple and their three children out of their car as they left the parking complex, long-known to police as a problem location. The suspects fled in an unknown direction in a black Nissan Murano, D.C. registration plate EJ-1251. Suspects should be considered extremely dangerous.

Another residential burglary happened and there was an armed robbery I read about last week. Gettysburg is not the type of place I would feel safe.

More than any other small town I've been to in the region. Seriously, if you look at the page after page of crime reports here you'll see how bad it is.

Agree 100%!!!!!!

Gettysburg is the crappiest little town I've set had the misfortune of knowing.
It's just a crime-ridden cesspool, sickening all of the violence that goes on in Gettysburg. Gettysburg's future is worth an out of order diarrhea-filled toilet. An inflatable pool full of urine. A paper bag stuffed full of horse manure.

Gettysburg bites.

Another armed robbery of a group of tourists in Gettysburg last night!

Sickening the amount of crime that goes on in Gettysburg. The whole town is a worthless cesspool. I hope it burns to the ground. It's all cheap construction anyway.

Gettysburg drinks infected urine.

Police broke up a large-scale drug distribution ring in Gettysburg.

It's just sickening the amount of serious and violent crime that happens in this toilet of a borough. Gettysburg disgusts me.

People stop in Gettysburg to take a dump on their way to somewhere important. There's a lot of crime in Gettysburg as of late and it keeps getting worse. It's a splattered toilet of a borough.

That Davenport sure does love to talk about child rape. Sounds like talking about is just like a fetish for him.

Why is it all stories about crime? Shouldn't you all focus on the good things that your town has to offer? What's with all the bickering? Sheesh!

Before visitng an area wouldn't you want to know if its a dangerous area?

I wouldn't want to visit Detroit because its unsafe. I'm sure others' would agree with that type of logical thinking and avoid areas infested with crime.

I've seen Gettysburg change in just a few years from a quiet, happy town to a war zone, practically. No way would I come to Gettysburg now.

tourists regardless of where they'd like to visit need to do a bit of homework, and find out if an area is safe or not.

I wouldn't want to expose my children to certain situations when they're supposed to be on a fun filled vacation.
