Vicki seemed like such a nice person. And a person that was having some bad luck. She made me feel sorry for her. She took me for a BIG ride. She is an evil person. Sad thing is, if she hadn't stolen from me, I would be open to helping someone else that really does just need a little help to get back on their feet. But, once burned, twice shy.

I was also scammed by Vicki Hittson Weir. In 2007, I leased two mares from her. I paid her over $1,000.00 in order to get the papers from AQHA and she assured me that I would have copies of their papers within 10 days. Of course I did not get them and I later learned that she used my money to pay the board on her other horses. One of the mares died last year and noone seems to know why. The other mare had her colt on Sunday and he is a gorgeous little guy. Unfortunately, he cannot be registered because Vicki never even sent in a breeders report on the mare, because she is a big liar. Now I am supporting this mare, whom I adore, but she is basically worthless to me as I compete on the quarter horse circuit and she and her colt cannot be registered. I am sure that there is a special place in hell reserved for Vicki Hittson Weir.

Vicki is a detriment to the already soft horse market/industry. It is kinda funny, I hear the same story from many people about their dealings with Vicki. Same story- same perpetrator but different victim.

It is really sad as the horses are the ones that are the helpless victims- woe is Vicki- WRONG!

There are many breeders out here doing it honest. Please people, deal with a REPUTABLE trainer/breeder. Not someone who has a rap sheet a mile long.

Eventually she will run out of places to go- and she will; end up where she belongs!

I also felt bad for Vicki and bought a mare from her. I agreed to make three payments of 500 each and she agreed to get the mares papers with the FIRST payment. Well after two payments (1000 bucks) the papers were never paid for and I gave the mare back. I still am out my 1000 bucks and will probably never see a dime of it. On a better note, I adopted two of the starving horses she had, Latte and Velvet and after having a 1300 vet bill on Velvet finally got her healthy. I found SUPER homes for both of them and Latte is now registered to her very good new owner. I am glad these two mares were rescued and are never going to be hungry again.
Vicki, I tried to contact you and tell you I had rescued both of those mares but you changed your number or did not answer. I am sorry George died but, taking advantage of ME after losing two of my sons was just not very nice. You can have another boyfriend or husband, I can't have any more kids.

Viki STOP..your list of doing ill to people including myself is long in the equestrian world. Your record speaks for its self if anyone wishes to research it.
I dont need to slam you here you have done it too yourself over the past few years.
Maybe its time to sit back and watch QVC for the next 10 or 20 years you have left.I dont know how your system can take one scandal after another. Don't you ever just get tired?

I also purchased a filly from her. To date my filly is wonderful. The papers and breeders certificates were in my possession when I got the horse. I asked her if she had paid the AQHA fees she told me NO. I paid the fees myself. It was part of doing business. I knew if I did it myself it would get done. Mr. Madeline is a very healthy three year old palomino filly. Probably the best minded horse I have ever owned.

My anger is that she also GAVE ME red dun mare, and old mare named Rosie I think. When I went to pick up the mare Butte County had taken the horses. Then when I contacted them they were very less than forth coming with information. They told me to call back, which I did and they told me the horses were gone. My old mare was stolen from me, Not by Vicki, but by the people who lied to me at Butte County.

You ask my opinion of Vicki. She sold me a horse when I wanted to buy one. She did not miss represent the foal, but I told her straight up how it was going to be.

I'm still very mad and sad about losing out on the other mare. That is what I do not understand.

If Butte County took 'Rosie', it was because she hadn't been fed for at LEAST three weeks, wormed and vaccinated NEVER, and generally suffered abuse and neglect like few horses have lived through. She had been living on bark, leaves and poop. And trying to fight off the younger, stronger horses for that. God Bless You, Butte County for seeing through her, and saving those horses!

I saw pictures of the old dun mare when the rescue got her. She was needing to be fed, she was in very very poor weight

Do you have any idea what happened to the mare. It just makes me sad. I was also looking at a chestnut mare named Laura and a filly named Sweetpea. I worry about them. Call me a bleeding heart what can I say.

So can you tell me what happened to her. I was told she was my Maddie's grandmother? Call me a bleeding heart. What can I say.

If you are from Red Bluff you probably know who I am, so why not just tell me what happened so I know how they are.

No, I don't know who you are. I know that over a year ago, I adopted Latte And Velvet from a Rescue. They had gotten the horses from Butte Co Sheriff Dept. I recognized both of them from knowing Vicki and knowing the mares. When I got them the last mare taken was still at the rescue. About a month ago, this mare was still there, had been there over a year, so I got her too. I even found a person in CO that knew Vicki, Talked to Vicki on the phone and found out this mare's mom, knew she was by Mr and now I am getting her papers from AQHA. As far as I know, all the horses have now been placed in homes where they will be cared for.
