Of the three proposed routes the one down the west side of the valley would have the fewest disruptions, eminent domain takeovers, and environmental impacts.

TANC held a scoping meeting in Chico? I would have liked to have known about it. My thought is that TANC did minimal notification of this meeting. Since finding out about the proposed additional power transmission lines (to late to attend the scoping meeting) I have spoken with several people who will be impacted by the lines and their proposed construction on the east side. Only one party was aware of the meeting. After trying to decipher the information on their website I feel TANC needs to return to Chico and redo the scoping meeting. Their notification to the community was entirely inadequate.
