As a matter of fact, yes I will. So long as it's an equal percentage for everybody and there is a contract in place as to when it would end. I have thought this for a long time. Maybe we didn't "start the fire", but all along I would have been willing to accept a temporary rollback if it meant other people not having to lose their jobs altogether. State employees had to do it...of which my ex-husband is one. I mean, we SHOULDN'T have to, but as my dear departed dad used to say, "you can't squeeze blood from a turnip". What a sorry mess. I'm so glad my son is as self motivated as he is academically and will be graduating next year. I tried to talk him into enrolling at Inspire for his senior year, but with only one year remaining he wants to stay put. |

1 Wal*Mart could not be where they are without the pro-global entities at work. The Democrats have aided this as much or more than any other organization or person. Why pick on just this store? have you noticed the new logo for Macys? A big red star. the symbol of the one-world Marxist agenda. |

Just wondering; who do you answer to? Who signs your paycheck? I'm not asking what you make. Just your motovation. |

well, i'm not a district employee, but that is beside the point. You are engaging in ad hominem attacks. Please refrain and debate the actual point / information. Is it incorrect that a cut is going to happen, now or later? I appreciate the other poster's agreement to unified salary cuts. I would agree that is the most prudent choice. |

As many have said, it is Brown who made our schools the horrible places they are today when they could have been like Marsh when my niece was there. Lerner-Thompson is the only person on the board that can save our schools. She followed and fought for Jeff Sloan and battled for him in public, not just behind the scenes like others. The pull of Brown is what brought our schools down and all the rest is history. Lerner-Thompson is a great educator and politician! I hope they don't kick her off there. She can bring Sloan back if she stays! |

It's OK if CUSD lays them off. They can always get a job at Wal Mart. Oops, my bad. Sorry.

Have YOU checked out Four Winds? egad!!! |

It started way before Brown. They hired Brown because they wanted a hired gun to come in and clean up. Little did they know that WC Fields look and drink alike would take down the kingdom with sheer arrogance. But to be sure, the school board had become a home for pompous windbags and politcal egomaniacs long before the hiring of Brown. Staley will take the fall for years of neglect and abuse by the so called 'downtown' staff. The state mongers will be fooled by the scam perpetrated by years of abuse by local politicians using school bonds and influence to hide the corruption of 'influence' to develop land, to outright steal cash, and hide years of sexual dalliances that would fill several pulp fiction novels. Color it any which way you want, a state takeover will save our schools from total self destruction. |

The state will send in someone who used to be a teacher and will be just as competent as the former teachers we have running the district.
The future of Chico Unified is Charter schools. Get used to it. Oh, and too bad about the new charter high school. Heard they have Jan Reed on their board. Now she can ruin that great idea just like she helped ruin Chico Unified. |

It would be easy to save those jobs if the union would take small pay cuts like everyone else in America is doing. All the talk about how the teachers "care" about everyone is BS. The poorest employees get the axe so teachers can keep their cushy fat pay checks. Nope, can't do that, I need to get my Beamer detailed once a week. Selfish jerks.
