I agree with the article, but women need to take an active role to stop the cycle by not being part of the films that portay them as objects.

Why was this article not called "Woman's Rights Activist Gives Lecture, Bash's Men"?

This so called expert from the article did not mention the negative impact that Drug & Alcohol causes in Domestic Violence. If you want to know what is the real driving force behind violence in America all you have to do is ask 90% of the over 2 million addicted convicts in prison today.

Drugs and Alcohol is the active ingredient in conjunction with what Mr. Katz said but unlike Mr. Katz you must include women. Women abusing men today is an extremely common problem in our society also because of drugs & alcohol, but does not play well to the woman feminists audience, demeaning males does.

I know Mr. Katz is making his living speaking, but you would think someone with his credentials would not be prone to selective reasoning oh, that's right he is speaking to a selective audience. No men allowed.

Our society is grotesquely steeped in violence, mindless machoism, guns, war and revenge.

We have holidays in this country that glorify and celebrate war and killing.

We have savage gangsters running our streets with AKs imported from Communist China and videos and movies glorify them.

We have amoral savage boys gang-raping a girl in Richmond while beating her, and a crowd is cheering.

You reap what you sow. Yet, ironically, we demand that our prisons be populated with the very violent animals that we otherwise celebrate, from the warmongers on down to the pipsqueak gangbanger wannabe who caps somebody to prove he's a real man.

the problem isn't violent television, video games or movies. these things don't make violent people, men are naturally more aggressive than women it shows in the chemicals our bodies produce, just because there are violent movies doesnt mean that it is encouraging raping and murdering other people and to think so is purely idiotic, and they sure don't put ideas into peoples head where those are not already there yes i think tv video games and movies are getting more and more violent but that is how human males used to be in nature, men used to hunt and kill and bring home food you can't fight nature completely so men are still going to be more violent while no form of abuse is acceptable its still going to happen

we have feminized society. everyone should respond the way women do and all would be right with the world according to the principle that underlies that process. look at the number of shows where men are made buffoons and women rag on them. listen to conversations, especially between women but also in mixed audiences and how the women talk down about and belittle the men. were the roles reversed we'd have women stating that this would be a kind of psychological abuse. this same thing happens with age differences: the children solve the problem created by the parents and the parents look like detached clueless imbeciles. i am tired of men taking the blame for it all. i am tired of the older generation taking the blame and i am tired of whites taking the blame. what happened has happened. we all need to throw off the 'victim' mentality and be overcomers and we need to do it respectfully and with forethought. and my bias is that i am an older white female, married, the mother of three sons.

William Jefferson(D): Finally bites the big one! Political correctness didn't stop his prosecution. It merely took a bit long! It will be interesting to see what happens in the Hasan case and the trials of those in Git-Mo... who should be tried in a Military Court.

Interesting. Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah, from zillion 7th grade papers whose answer to every current affair's problem is that "it is society's fault".

At least this professor has maintained a 7th grade level of education. For that I guess we should all be thankful.

I wonder how much of our tax payer's money went into to his pocket to spew dated 60's feminist diatribe?

The blue haired college professors were probably fantasizing about their 5th abusive husband and how evil he was.

So it wasn't a complete waste.

it's de-evolution really. the masses are dumbing down to more primitive and more knuckle dragging beings that feed off of rape, cheap thrill's and power.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Cancer

Discussions and meetings go really well today because you're finding it easy to put your thoughts into words. You'll also show that you respect other people's viewpoints even if they don't coincide with your own. It's a good day for making domestic plans, and some of these will be quite ambitious without being unrealistic or far-fetched.
