My parents and I lived in the upper camp from 1953-1960. My dad, James Geordge, worked as a stope miner in the mine. I went to the 4-room school @ the upper camp that was newly built in 1956, as I remember.

I've always been interested in keeping in touch with and/or finding former Nye residents from that time, or any time for that matter.

I'm posting this in hopes that someone that lived there in that time will see it and get in contact. I've also posted over the years with the Stillwater County website in Columbus.

After leaving Montana, I lived and went to school in SLC, Ut. and currently live and work in Reno, NV.
