Go to the internet and type 'fundraising ideas.' There are a lot of sites and a LOT of ideas. There was one I loved in particular-Have a spelling bee with the "celebrities" or well-known people in your town being the contestants. You can also have different age groups. The directions are on a site-- spelling bee fundraiser, so you can read the rules and how to make the money. Also, get some volunteers to set up a bake sale and craft table at the event. You could find a business or a generous person to donate a nice prize for a raffle. You could fill a large clear jar with jelly beans and charge $1 or more for a guess of the no. in the jar and give a prize. And it wouldn't hurt to have a donation jar out. Ask around for volunteers to make things, and bake. You can do this all at the same time and place.Imagine how much fun it would be to watch grownups trying to remember how to spell high school words.(You may have trouble finding people who are willing to stand up and embarrass themselves, but it would be fun. Just get the kids in their uniforms go into stores or homes and ask for donations.(But don't let them go alone!) Good luck and try finding some of these ideas on line.

Hi! Not sure if you're still trying to raise money for this team, but I can offer you a fundraiser through Jamberry Nails.

You can see the product at

The company's fundraiser offers you 10% of your sales, so for every 100 nails sheets you sell, your team would get $150. Customers order online and the company ships directly to them. All you have to do is promote!

Jamberry Nails come in over 200 designs, so there's something for everyone, and they last 2 weeks on the hands and 6 weeks on the toes -- so even athletes can wear them without worry.

If you're interested, visit my store at and click on "Host a party."

Fundraising opportunity, how much do you get from these parties and if you are compensated, do you give that to the team? If you do, then it's sounds like a great idea!
