transplant, you are welcome, and again, I am really sorry about the pain issue.

There are a few acupuncturists in Kingsport, TN, and they don't just use needles, they also use a technique called cupping; and there are some salons in Norton that offer massage. I haven't been in a long time, but there was one lady in particular that did a really good job she was in one of the shops on the main street of Norton. I hope you are able to find some relief.

I have visited one in norton but that wasnt what i was seeking. There was a lady incharlotte, nc that was from a boston hospital that did this and she made me feel a million times better. But from what my doc told me there is a guy in gray that might offer the same thing. I wish i cld remember the details but i cant:( i have developed such a phobia with doctors working up to $50000 in one yr of doc bills with ins just for the tests to be "inconclusive" or get the same old "yes there are issues but you shldnt be in this much pain at gour age yet" . Get so tired of hearin that so what am i to do?

It sounds like it by everything I read that he was charged with, but who truly knows maybe a mistake I'm not going to judge. I just hate certain Doctors not going to mention any names unless I know for fact what they do "Dr. Moore" who writes people narcotics, nerve pills, muscle relaxers just to get them addicted to the point that for one they will always be there and never turn him in and watch his back and it's just not right. I just don't know how these dr's that do this can live knowing what they are doing not only to the person but there family.

@transplant. Dr. Fitzpatrick is in Kingsport, and he is also part of the time each month in Boston. I know several people he has helped, and he is in the building with all of the glass windows next to Indian Path Hospital. There is also a chronic pain clinic and orthopedic specialists and physical therapy in the same building as him, he is a board certified specialist in traditional chinese medicine. http://www.easttnacupuncture.com/ is his website. In addition to acupuncture, he practices tui na, cupping and moxabustion.

@ashamed. Many years ago, Dr. Moore was our family doctor, and he seemed to be really good. At some point, after his son passed away and he and his wife divorced, I did notice that his attitude changed. I ended up taking my children to see Dr. Stapleton when he came and my husband and I ended up seeing specialists in internal medicine and I had to see an oncologist...so, I didn't change doctors because of his attitude, but I did notice that after those things happened to him he seemed like a different person. So, I don't know if the rumors about him are true or not, but if they are, it is very sad, because at one time I do know that he was a good doctor.

When is he coming back. He was my dr. and now I think I have pneumonia! Where are all his patients going until he comes back if he ever does come back? Do you all think he really had pain medicines in his cabinet in unmarked bottles and was giving them out to patients in envelopes? Did that happen at his office in Appalachia or back when he was in Big Stone? Is it possible it could have been a set up? I am concerned about this because he was my doctor for many years. I just can't believe it and I hate it because I, along with the other patients, will have to start over with someone else.
