Dr. Ford is the best around any where. As for you Crackdown he must not have give you what you wanted. If he wrights meds the person is screen for the reason why and test are run to make sure. Like I said Dr. Ford is the best Dr. any where. If ever one put as much time in working like he dose we would all be better off and in good health. I thank God that we still have a great Dr. in this area to see and ever one should be proud we have him here. I'm not not one of his patients but do know him and know the type of Dr. he is.

Well, I'll just say that I like Dr. Ford. I think he is genuine and cares about his patients. However, I do think that he goes a little too far when writing prescriptions. I'm saying this because I watched my mother take 9 different medications daily for years. She didn't have any severe health issues when she started going to him but soon after becoming his patient, she became addicted to these strong pain meds. That was the hardest thing to watch. I finally had to meet with him myself and explain to him what was going on. He still continued to give these to her even when she admitted to not being in any pain. I've never heard of a doctor doing this. Our family thought that it had something to do with money. I still don't understand why he overmedicated her but I'm thankful she eventually found another doctor. I have heard rumors about him giving anyone anything but I don't like to go on gossip. This is my personal experience with him.

I just meant exactly that! My father goes to him and u should see the drugs he's got him on! I mean, he walks out of the pharmacy with a grocery bag full to the brim of meds! It's crazy how a 53 year old guy who, other than having stomach problems, is in perfectly good health...yet takes probably 25 different pills a day!! I think he's a good doc, bit tends to overly prescribe...

My dad also is a patient of his and thankfully he doesn't take much medication. From what he says, Dr. Ford is being investigated for his prescription writing. Not sure if its true or not but thats what he was told when he went to his appointment last week. Either way, I feel bad for his patients who really has stuck with him all these years. Maybe he will realize his mistakes and stop overmedicating people. Other than that, I think he is a good doctor.

I don't live there but did many years ago. Where I live they are very tight on prescriptions. If you take any kind of narcotic you have to submit to a drug test every 3 months. Needs to be that way everywhere. I just know a lot of people are his patients. Glad he has someone covering for him.

Its not that the people he writes these prescriptions to does other drugs or anything. They would pass a drug test (most of them) because they have only the things that he's written to them in their system. In my opinion, and again let me say this is my opinion so that I dont offend anyone, he just gives people too much medicine. I went to see him over migraines. He put me on 6 different things and I was very surprised. At first I didnt question it because he was the doctor. I took what I was prescribed and ended up in bed for 3 days. Eventually I stopped seeing him and went to another doctor. She gave me one medication and took care of the problem.

it's what a lot of doctors do to build up there clients and one's they no want say anything once they get them addicted they are there every month in and out in 5 mins got there pain medicine the doc has his 100 dollars and the patient want say anything because if they do they know that no other doctor will write them the pain meds that they " have" to have just to get through the day. I would say he learned that from Dr. Moore when they was in together. This is facts I speak because I am a recovering addict that was a patient of Dr. Moore.

I dont think anyone is saying he's a drug pusher. And we all agree that he's not a bad doctor. He's helped alot of people in my family so I appreciate him for that. No-one is trying to get rid of him. He's been practicing here for years so I doubt that is the case.

I heard that he keeps people there till three or four in the morning. When i want to see a doctor i want him to come in at a decent hour. I think he would not have gotten his license suspended if he did not do something. He needs to put his patients first if he is going to be a doctor. He is at the age to where he might think about getting out . I think that he needs to just open a night clinic that is the only time he wants to see patients.
