Geez, if you people knew this family you would not that this is not true. I have known them attended their church. I know for a fact that the pastor would never allow anything like this to go on.
Tearing down these good people is wrong.

Let me tell you something! These local church are full of child molesters, druggies and drinkers! I know first hand I have attended several of our local holier than thou churches and they are ripe with sin! My children and I will take our chances staying at home on Sunday rather than taking our chances with these degenerates!

I'm not at all saying it's true. It's the first I heard of it. However someone started this topic and if it is true then they need to explain

It's true that you never know who you're going to church with. The man who sexually abused me as a child goes to church every Sunday morning and Wednesday night.

I'm not saying any of this stuff is going on at the church mentioned, because I've never been to that church. I'm just saying that I experienced abuse by a man everyone thought was a good, religious, family man.

I too am a survivor of abuse not just of one man in my childhood church but three! They took pornographic pictures of me and today they are all over the Internet! These men are still loose in the community! They did not believe me! I will never send my children to church again! I know what goes on there!

If your pictures are all over the internet then YOU can do something about it. Those pictures can be traced back to the person who put them there. I am sorry you had this experience but to keep yourself and your children out of church is not the answer. God is NOT a child abuser and child abusers are everywhere. They need to be caught and punished!!!!!!!!!!

I have tried to get help! No one will help me! I don't want a repeat of this! I will never darken the door of a church again! Churches are full of child abusers! They are in business to make money and use people! What a shame! I will just stay at home and pray for all of these people who think they are doing Gods work but actually work for the devil!

I am the most concerned about adults who think it is okay to not let adults and especially teens around an individual like this know that they need to be aware or watchful. Do they think someone who hides and lies about everything he does for years and makes a mockery out of God does not have serious problems? Do they think that if he apologizes, says he'll never do it again that that's okay?? They all are sorry and will never do it again, and in a minister who has deceived an entire church into believing he is a godly person for years, even repentance does not protect the next girl. I am so disappointed in a church that does not stand up and protect its children, they are too concerned with what they look like, that is truly sad

Having practiced law for forty years, I knew more "family secrets" than I care to remember. I am reminded of many of these "secrets" on Sunday mornings. I remind myself of Paul's time in prisons as well as my savior's ministry in those dungeons. He taught that all can be saved; that all could repent, be forgiven and share in his glory. HIS message is not for the "perfect" of us. It is for all. It mat seem hypocritical for these sinners to partake of communion next to me --or you -- but, like the rest of us, all we can do is our best. It may be more hypocritical to object to a "sinner's" participation. Are we not all sinners? Different sins? Do we all continue to need reminding of the oaths we have taken before our savior? Are we less needful if at some point we were the "victim?" Maybe, just maybe, the sinners to whom you refer are in that church seeking to change their ways and to walk with your savior?

Everyone can repent and change, even this boy, but to hide it from others or send him sraight in around other girls without warning them, criminal. People should still be warned and be aware of the behavior and love him and hope it gets better, but putting your pride and arrogance before the safety of our children is absolutely wrong. There are laws to protect people from sex offenders and abusers, to warn us who is around us for a reason, to think you are above those laws because it would embarrass you or make you look bad and who cares if it happens again, monstrous. I am as appalled at the people who think it should be hid as I am at the boy. These people are dangerous, that type of I'm above the law behavior is nothing short of criminal!

Parents are godly people who showed mercy and didn't put him in jail then a handful of people who look up to the man instead of the Lord ostracized them for making the boy tell the church what why he was really leavying! They had sent him in schools and youth groups around minor girls immediately after they were told and he had a 16 year old he was seeing in his vehicle with him from one of the ministrlies he's in, they felt they had no choice but to make other parents and girls aware, they were rig nt but they should have put him in jail in my opinion, an 18 year with a 13 year old! It's scary that people can fool people so easy.
