My Son offered to take off work & come down here to escort me to the Polls & dare you to come anywhere near me. I wouldn't let him do that, so he insists that I not go to vote without him, because he is afraid for my safety because of you & what we are know that you're capable of doing to a Woman! We all know that you don't have the guts to confront a Man, but you love intimidating Women or doing anything else to them that you can get by with. You've proven that by your past actions, enough so that you've been charged & have an upcoming Court case over such an incident.

So you've accomplished your goal, you stopped a Democrat from voting. I hope you & your Teapublicans are proud of taking my Constitutional Right away from me through intimidation tactics. Now, I'm trying to decide whether or not to file charges with the U.S. Justice Dept. I ,also, wonder how many others you & your Political Party have done the same thing to in this County &, in this State.
It's 2010 all over, again & it is a Federal Offense!

Sassy, you have no proof that anyone threatened you. You don't even know who the poster was. You never intended to vote and you found an excuse not to go. I was pretty sure this morning when you lashed out about going to scream that you never had an intention to go vote. So it's your story and I am sure you will stick to it. Make a fool of yourself and call the justice dept, the national guard, the army or whoever and let them have a good laugh.

Actually, legally speaking, monitoring any particular person's comings and goings is defined as stalking... And reporting in whether or not a person voted seems unethical if not illegal.

I'm just saying....

I agree 100%. If someone was there to monitor whether sassy went to the polls and voted, I'm sure she made the right decision to stay home. I wouldn't want to go out in public with these weirdos putting in the time to see if I showed up or not. That is stalking.
its a shame that it has come to this for
Sassy an older woman; by what I'm sure is just a small group of idiots.
Next time sassy, early vote or I will go with you myself. I have a rather big bodyguard myself.

What is wrong with you people? I do not always agree with what Really Sassy says. But, watching to see if she has come to vote? Seems kind of like harrassment. Actually, this topic is nothing but harrassment towards her which by the way is illegal.

Really Sassy,

I am sorry this is what you have to deal with. Just reminds me that many in this county have nothing better to do than be bullies.

Thank you, owl. I have never done early voting because I have read that IF there is any Voting Fraud that goes on, it is mosre likely to be done with the "early votes & absentee votes" than the votes cast on Voting Day at the Polls.
Also, I will never set foot in the Voter Registration Office, as long as the current Voting Director occupies that position & that office, unless i have absolutely no other choice because he is the One who is responsible for me & all of the Other Long-time Voters being purged in 2009-2010 before the 2010 Election. Almost all of us were reinstated by a Judge's Order, but he tried his best to stop us, mostly Democrats, from voting in the 2010 Election & it was illegal! Because of that, I can't stand to even look at him, much less be in the same room with him!
But, I promise you that, unless I'm in the Hospital or Dead, I will be there to vote in Nov. & I will NOT be alone and NOBODY better not say one word to me that even MIGHT sound like voter Intimidation or they will be explaining their Actions to the Authorities, if they don't have to do that BEFORE Nov., because I have decided to file that Complaint!
But, I want you to know that I do very much appreciate the offer!

I thank you for your support, Somebody has to put a stop to what's going on here & on this Forum, & it might as well be me! I probably know more than anybody else how to go about it because of what I've already been through, so I just need to DO IT!

OK, while voting records (who voted, not HOW they voted) may be public record - an issue that has apparently been the subject of legal action and debate amongst many citizens and organizations - stalking, however, IS a criminal act.

Also, it is a crime to interfere with anyone’s lawful right to vote. Intentionally inciting anxiety, fear, discomfort, or intimidation in a person regarding their physical presence at a voting location is interference with their right to vote.

As American citizens, we are assured of our right to vote. It is seemingly the only real freedom we have left. And, as a citizen, I find it disgusting, pathetic, and immature. Regardless of how you feel about anyone personally, the entire community should be outrage over such a blatant assault on someone's civil liberties regardless of personal grievances.
