Mecosta-Osceola teacher arrested for alleged sexual relationship with male student

Police say a teacher with the Mecosta-Osceola County Intermediate School District faces criminal charges stemming from an alleged sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student.

Well she's out on a 50,000 bond and the school male official in the same jurisdiction same magistrate same type of sitaution recently never even got a bond plus where this female teacher taught they were emotionally impared students. I guess that proves right there that a female school official doesn't get the same treatment a male school official would, WOW that just is so unfair.

Male - 1st degree charges,admitted sex with 14 year old for 5 months, moved out of county
Female - 3rd degree charges, sex with 16 year old for 1 week, has small children, not likely a flight risk.
Totally different charges and situations from what I am reading.

He never admitted to sex for 5 months, that is a total lie that was in the paper because the mother committed purjery in court and the case has been appealed and he didn't move out of the country it's the same sitation. How is this different because there was a bit over a years age difference and girls mature faster than boys, no it's because it's a female school offical vs male school official that is our society, it's Gender Bias when it comes to a male vs female what difference should it make because she has small kids REALLY??????????

Nothing different then what was going on years ago only the laws have changed alot since then. When I went to school 30 years ago I remember it going on in the school I went to no one seemed to care, 2 different situations that I knew of a probably lots more at my school there was even holding hands with the adult male student teacher down the hall with the female student, no one seemed to cared. There were not cell phones back then either so that is how they are getting caught. The teens are doing this consentually and they should be going toJuvinile Detention as well, and parents aren't watching there teens, no setting curfews or knowing what there teens are up too, so they are part to blame too. Not sure in this particular case since I think the boy was in a 24 hour emotionally impaired school so we can't really blame the parent too in this case if that was the situation.

Regarding the male school official the girl was cohersed by the police into saying they had sex 3 times it took quit awhile for them to do that, just like in this situation he got no bond he should of been offered a bond just like the female school official did. People accused of murder, attempted murder ect get offered a bond I think there is a HUGE GENDER BIAS GOING ON in this county even the same courthouse with the same Magistrate!!!!!!! I've noticed that female school officials get a much less sentence or probation when they send the male school offials to prison with longer sentences I don't feel that is fair and it's not. Granted there was a 18 month age difference but still I do feel she should of been offered a bond but so should he have. Talk about INJUSTICE AND BIAS. That is this society for you. Geez I notice people write Hot for Teacher, High Five to the Guy Teen, but if it's a male he's treated a whole lot different real nasty comments, I don't agree at all to this Gender Bias going on in our society the male school offical has kids too he was not a flight risk.

for all of you whom think its ok behaviour for adults to be sleeping with children, i wonder what your response would be if your 14 year old comes home one day and has to tell you they have been with someone double their age.. but i guess if elvis did it must be ok..lol and why should the children be put in juvy.. they didnt break no law.. i never realized how many child molester supporters we had in this town.. makes me feel real comfortable having my children in this area..

Law clearly reads different degree charges for age of victim and whether they are in a position of power. If he was innocent, then why didn't he go to trial instead of pleading guilty and blaming everyone else for his behavior?
