I didn't say anything about fighting. Yes I agree none of those guys were invited over to his home that night. It was more of a buddy backing up buddies. He was foolish for showing up, I agree but none the less Chalen and his friends new there was a fight going to happen that night, other wise there would have been no waiting in the bushes or any weapons involved that night. Maybe it wasn't the group they were expecting none the less they new people were going to show up. I feel sorry for Chalens family but there son is still ALIVE and there are able to talk to there son and I'm sure at times even hug him. We are unable to do that with Mike. He is going to be forever 20 and all we have are pictures of him, now as a reminder of who he was and our memories of him, Chalen family still get to talk and see there son grow up, and he should have thought before he used the weapon. Can't wait till this is all over with. Love you Mikey!!!

I am sorry for this comment from skinhead who ever he is, he is out of line. I reported it as abuse and hope it is removed quickly. Chalen is still a kid in my eyes and made a major mistake and should pay for it, but not with his life, one life missing in all of this is enough. I am not who I was at 19 or 20 and I suspect Chalen is no longer who he was a few weeks ago either. I wish both Chalen and Mike could have grown up a few weeks sooner and all this would not have happened. Regretably it did happen and now we must all deal with the loss and pain of it forever. There two were both in the wrong. Both Chalen and Micheal will be missed yes but pointing fingers solves nothing. If Chalen is innocent then it will be shown. But if he did infact murder London then the law will take care of it. Anyone who wasnt there to wintess the fight has no room to talk about judgment or punishment. Let it all go and God will decide the final outcome.

Beating charges upgraded to murder

A charge against an 18-year-old man accused of killing Michael Lundin over the volume of a car stereo were upgraded Friday, authorities said.
Christopher Day of Sugar Loaf was initially charged with assault with a deadly weapon for the June 18 fatal beating of Lundin at Knickerbocker and Pennsylvania avenues.

Charges were upgraded to murder Friday. Authorities declined to elaborate, saying only that Day was responsible for Lundin's death.

Okay so no hugs but at least they get to see there son grow up. Maybe behind bars but they still get to hear his voice tell him that they love him. We will never be able to do that to Mike again. If you call Chalen a murderer, you OBVIOUSLY don't know Chalen. Everyone wishes that night did'nt happen. Please respect Mikes parents wishes. They want all this to stop. Mike was a Christian.
