There was one riverboat still on the Chattahoochee River as late as the early 1980s, The Jubilee, I think it was...

Yeah, I think I remember that.
I was just trying to be funny about the painting, it must have been painted a long time ago.
I think it is the view from what is now the old boat launch area.

Duane, though hard to make out, the writing on the picture states "View from the new bridge" or something like that... I'll run it by some of the local scholars on another forum and see what they think about it.

Where can I find some history on the Jubilee riverboat? I know there was another riverboat in the 1990's called the Chattahoochee Princess.

Mr. F.D. Williams the owner of Bulldog Bait & Tackle who also owns the Chattahoochee Princes may have the low down. The Chatt. Princes as of a few months ago, was sitting at Lake Point Resort Eufaula up on the hard for repairs. Might be tough to get the old girl to pass a USCG inspection for passenger vessels? Not sure what shape she is in but would like to see her making way again some day. I ran into one of the former captains who is now the captain of riverboat in Montgomery Al.
