Terrible situation as poverty continues to grow in the USA, the only answer I have seen from Obama is to continue to blame the previous administration.

The four-day trip beginning Saturday will be the president's fourth to Asia. It comes amid unusual challenges at home, including opening discussions with lawmakers about dealing with the nation's fiscal health and a sex scandal that's roiling his national security team.

I don't want to sound cruel, but how many in poverty are there because they have too many children or spend their money on drugs?

It will be interesting to see just what the democrats will be willing to cut to get spending under control and prevent a record 5th years of over a trillion dollar annual deficits.

And it will be interesting to see how many republicans will make their Golden Calves pay a little more this year? They got huge tax breaks over the past 12 years now they WILL be made to give some back. Spending cuts along with some tax increaes it's the ONLY way. If no agreements are made by the end of 2012 which I hope they don't the deficit for 2013 should be around 400 to 500 billion. Bad but still a big improvement.

It is sad that there are 50 million poor people in America. It is also sad that there are 800 million poor people in India. It is also sad that there are 50 million poor people in Mexico. Nevertheless, these poor people are designed to train the whole lot of us, as to what the world will do for us.

How often have you helped a poor person?

Why would the people help you in your times of trouble?

What are you doing for the world?

Why should they care about your problems?

Hardly anyone I know is doing good financially.
No end in sight either, President Obama was supposed to be for the working people and things have gotten a lot worse for us.
I dont care what all the hot air heads say, the economy was much better when President Bush was in.

I made $38.00 less on my check this week, new year and of course brand new taxes and I am not rich, seems they're gonna tax the middle class all along. Obama is a liar

Well those who supported the Bush Cheney Iraq con artist war are now paying for this trillion dollar fiasco. Not only a trillion dollars but for the next 60 to 70 years diability payments to thousands of Iraq veterans. So those in this category are now being punished along with those innocent taxpayers who were against this war. GOOD NEWS! Chuck Hagel who believes in wars that are truly necessary, which excludes Vietnam and the second Iraq war, will most likely be the next Secretary of Defence. I still believe as many do that Bush and Cheney should be in a military prison on 23 hour lockdown for the rest of their natural lives.

The military and their defence contracting buddies taught us all the biggest F-cking America got and will be paying for the next 60+ years. Iraq was NO pearl harbor. Anyone who went there was going for a well paying job for themselves and not there protecting MY country. Tired of hearing these military lifers and their whinning about cut-backs.

All hail King Obama!
Obey his decrees!
The King shall distribute to each what the KING feels they deserve.
Pay your taxes, give to your KING riches and homage!
