Im not trying to attack you with what I am about to say, BUT all your nerves aren't gone. I am in the health profession and I can garantee that all your nerves wouldn't be gone if you slit your wrists. It may hurt like hell, but if your strung out or wanting to die, then yes you can slit both of your wrists...trust me I have seen it done. I have also seen someone try to kill themselves by slitting their own neck, they lived and admitted to it. Anyways, if all your nerves were gone after you slit your wrist then you wouldn't be able to feel the pain that is caused by the wound as well as be able to move your fingers normally and when you poked your skin, it would feel like it went to sleep. Now I am not trying to attack you, but don't say stuff that your not truly knowledgible about.

i think and it is my opinion that the people that love april in macon county and elsewhere are angered by the fact that the ruling of suicide was made so hastlaley. If in fact she did do such a thing, her loved ones would learn to accept it better if the authorities made every attempt to rule it out with a full investigation from the beginning. Im sure with this case being in such an uproar higher professional have been called in, and if they werent/arent--- how sad.
I also think that there is something to be said about Mr. Abbadessa having ANYTHING to do with Ms. Campbell -other than being a former employeer. I have worked for Mr. Abbadessa in the past and most of his employees are young girls. Some of my friends work for him as we speak. If in fact Mr. Abbadessa had anything to do with the stalking accusations, or even her unfortunate death-- i think the authorities should at least question him, if they havent already, for the saftey of his former, current and future employees- as well as the parents of those who intrust in him as an employeer.
I only hope everything is resolved in a timely manner for her families sake. April was a wonderful girl and that is how she should be remembered!
*Please note that this is my opinion*

I just can't believe her death was ruled a suicide. I knew her and she was such a good person. She had a really good life and a good job. If she did commit suicide then she would have left a note of some sort. Women ALWAYS do they when they are going to commit suicide. Since the police THOROUGHLY searched her apartment, they would have foudn something like that. I don't want to jump to conclusions but what if the FAMILY MEMBER that found her murderd her? I think thie tragic death of April Campbell should be ruled a homicide.
Why don't you THINK before you decide to post your conclusions on here that you clearly ARE jumping to? Her stepfather, who is very sick with cancer found her. Finding this person that he watched grow from a little girl into a very beautiful young woman dead in her own apartment was probably the single most tragic event in his life. Her whole family loved her very much and doesn't deserve to get on this very public website and read your ridiculous opinions. Please have some sympathy, this is a very tough time for April's family. I pray for them each and everyday.

1) Learn English.
2) People have indeed killed themselves out of fear. Most suicides are the result of fear of some kind, not depression.
3) You wouldn't qualify for sheriff in a ghot town.
4) The CDC does in fact note that, though rare, people do slit their own throats. Judy Garland attempted suicide in this manner.
5) Cases involving slashed wrists are USUALLY involving cuts on both wrists. The major nerves are on the top of the arm, not the bottom, where the targetted veins are.

Nice people do kill themselves. Suicide is not a moral issue but a psychological one. And no, people--women or men--do not always leave a note, depending on the circumstances.

Fortunately, determination of cause of death is made based on evidence, not what you "feel".

Unless thee is suspicion of a crime, the police have no right to question anyone--not that it isn't done, but strictly speaking if there is no crime, there is no right for the police to even speak to you, much less interrogate you. And since it has officially been listed as a suicide, no crime has been committed.

To be blunt, no evidence of this being a murder has been presented. Just a lot of idle gossip.

Actually, the poster has a point. If you want this treated as a murder investigation, then EVERYONE is a suspect, even family members. You cannot have it both ways.

I couldn't believe it when I read that post myself. I didn't want to reply to it because I didn't want it re-printed, to remain on the thread if the moderator deleted it, as I flagged it.
I asked everyone earlier to please think before another innocent person got hurt. I guess it's too late for that now. That had to be the most immature and drama-addicted person posting.
For those truly concerned about her and her family, my prayers are that you will know the truth and for the comfort of those she loved.

I was refering to an earlier post when someone commented that he had no cell phone and didn't know how to use one. I believe a savvy business man such as Al Abbadessa could easily figure out how to use a cell phone.

To all who care and do not want to fight!!

I know Al he is not a person who knows technology, and I also know April, each very well I don't think April would kill herself on her own.
I also know i had a cousin who was like my brother who killed himself and he was not the type to do a thing like that either. The world is full of crazy things and everyday it just gets worse. Sometime i wonder if ever God isn't scared of what he has created here on earth. People fight about who is right and who is wrong when they do not even know there selves. God love us all! I will miss April very much as anyone who knew her, but let stop argueing guilt and keep on the sheriffs dept to keep investigating what happen to our young lady, who touched the lives of all that knew her.

April from what I hear was a vert smart, gorgeous, girl who would not do such a thing unless she was intoxicated, or drugs were involved. But Bevier and surrounding towns are SMALL but are always filled with BIG rumors. Al has been through alot within the past year, wouldn't you people feel horrible if it comes out he isn't guilty, HARSH. It all happened for a reason and april is now in peace thank god. Amazing woman and now she can live her amazing life the way it was intended.
Just keep the investigation to the people who know their jobs.
RIP APRIL*
obviously the cops around here dont know how to do their jobs other wise they wouldn't make stupid calls
