Israel has launched its ground war in the Gaza strip.
Russian backed Rebels have shot down an airliner full of nearly 300 innocent civilians.
So what does fearless leader do?

This is what real leadership looks like when the Russian bear shows up.

Well, I don't know much about the most recent developments in Israel, but from what I heard, that airliner getting shot down was somewhat unintentional. They thought they'd shot down a different plane... Just more examples of the usual human stupidity and they should certainly be chastised for it.... It's unfortunate, quite tragic, especially for those involved. My condolences to their families... Now let's see how they handle themselves after their mistake? Do they own up and apologize? Do they deny it ever happened? Was it intended as some kind of statement? Let's find out before we throw out accusations.

Still, and this is something I never really understood, why do we have to get into others business all of the time? It's the constant "big brother telling the children to behave" attitude that has gotten us into so much debt and trouble. These other countries aren't babies, they can handle their own crises given the chance.. Perhaps not in the ways we'd like, but it's not like we have the right to control that. Why should we drop everything and try to look extra tough in the face of every concerning event overseas? You're trying to call into question Obama's "courage" because he didn't drop all prior commitments to address the events in Ukraine and Israel... but depending on the perspective, dropping everything to address it can be seen as a sign of fear. Every time something happens in another country I constantly hear "we have to appear strong" blah blah blah because we're just SOOO afraid of looking weak in front of the other countries. And we wonder why we've been run so ragged for the past decade. We may be "the greatest country in the world" but that doesn't mean we are invincible. Wouldn't it be better to admit that and take a step back for a bit? We still have the most military strength and the world knows it. Chilling out for a bit isn't an invitation for someone to invade us or anything. Then again, what do I know. Whenever I think on these things I find that I'm very much desensitized. It's likely from the constant threats, war, senseless deaths, arguing, bs and involvement in other countries issues That I've observed since I was in my pre-teens... It just feels like a never-ending cycle of us getting involved for some "moral" reason, managing to piss people off, making allies and sharing weapons with one country, and then having to fight that country a couple decades later... Perhaps if we just leave well enough alone for once and let them work out their issues for themselves, things would actually stay peaceful for us for more than a few years at a time... at least what passes as peaceful for us... I mean we have our own internal issues with violence and senseless deaths... Why deal with another country's violence issues when we can't even solve our own? Just find out if there were Americans on that plane, give a speech handing out condolences and chastising those involved demanding an apology, half-heartedly throw some support with others who feel they overstepped boundaries, then shut up...Let those other places go to hell until they come asking for our help... then we can consider what to do with them and it may be easier to know what to do after watching from an objective standpoint rather than immediately jumping into the madness. But once again, I'm very much desensitized. While I feel bad for all of the innocent people losing lives over crap, I don't feel so bad as to step in without being asked...No wonder I related so well with Daria... XD

That Korean plane shouldn't of been shot down if Regan was such a tough guy!!!!!!!!!!
When Reagan got those 250 Marines pretty much slaughtered, he did not even apologize to American public. He sent those Marines into that region, leaving them as sitting ducks, ordering them not to discharge their weapons.
250 of the 500 Marines Reagan sent home in body bags. such an awesome leader!!!!

Face it, you can't stop terrorism regardless of who you are!!!!!!!!!!

Lol! Classic American mistakes... Trying to work with a language we never cared to learn and messing up... You'd think the government would be able to just ask someone fluent for a spell check. I see it all the time. This one time I saw a dude at college showing off his new tattoo to his friends. It was one of those tattoos with the writing in Japanese. Dude was telling his friends that it was Chinese for "good luck". I had to stop myself from busting out laughing... I hung around a bit and waited for the crowd of friends around him to disperse a bit and then called him over so I could tell him that he'd been tricked. His tattoo was in Japanese, not Chinese, and it said "8 dogs"... Needless to say his face turned red... luckily it was airbrushed, so it washed off eventually... When he wanted to get a new one he looked up what he wanted it to say on google translate and found me in the student center and asked if it was right. lol I think he learned a good lesson from that... I do hope he got his money back for that last one though.
