What's simmering on the state's filmmaking scene? Here's a quick look at some of the latest blips on the radar: Rob Reiner was in metro Detroit last week in connection with "Flipped," which is expected to begin filming in Michigan next month.

They are filming the new movie Stone in an old farm house just outside of Dexter. I can see them from my deck. I am told that next week they will be burning down the farm house as part of the movie.
