You know, it wouldn't surprise me at all. I don't know if any of you out there are old enough to remember a syndicated columnist by the name of Carl T. Rowan. Mr. Rowan was rabidly anti-gun, and in October of 1985 he wrote a scathing column calling for the "complete and universal ban on sale, manufacture, importation and possession of handguns". We were all kind of surprised a little bit when in June 1988, he shot a teenage boy at 2:00 a.m. after he caught the teen swimming in his pool. To top it all off, the handgun that Mr. Rowan used wasn't even registered with the police. Mr. Rowan claimed it belonged to his son, an FBI agent, who had "left it with him for home defense". Nice. See this is the kind of hypocrisy these folks are guilty of. They want stuff banned for the ordinary working stiff, but they think they themselves are above the law. That's why it would not surprise me in the least if Piers Morgan owned a so-called Assault Weapon. He's been so rabidly opposed to private ownership of what his crowd calls assault weapons that it would be typical if he owned one. Hell, maybe even a small arsenal of them and a pallet of ammunition to go with it. LOL. I don't know. We'll just have to ask him under oath. In the meantime, you can get the TRUTH about the firearms situation in the USA from this web site, which contains actual Department of Justice Reports which you may download free of charge. http://assaultweaponsbanof2013.blogspot.com
