The vast majority of Calif Democratic voters are non Union therefore they have no representation in the all powerful Calif Democratic Party Dictatorship which runs our State.

California Democratic voters did NOT pass Prop 32. Now they need to shut up and submit to their Union Overseers never ending demands for more and more and more of all the other voting Democrats hard earned money.

The Port Management should cave. The Union members only get two to four times as much as non union workers doing the same job and only get ELEVEN weeks of PAID vacation every year instead of the TWO weeks which is standard for American workers.

The Unions are not just demanding that the Jobs don't go OffShore.
According to KABC, The unions are demanding that the Jobs don't leave L.A. County for more reasonable worker pay scales which are the norm in ALL of the other American States.

This will be a game changer. If Private Companies operating in CA are forced to pay twice as much for employees in Calif than anywhere else in America our State unemployment rate should skyrocket to over 48%.

Now that's PROGRESSIVE!!!

GREAT NEWS! Businesses all over the Country are exploring alternatives to shipping through the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. We are just way too expensive and undependable. Shipping into more well managed States where businesses have representation in Govt circles is certain to cost thousands of jobs in So Cal over the next couple of years.
It's all Good.
This will be a huge Win for other States who are viable alternatives to our increasingly politically unstable Ports.

Why dont conservatives that hate CA so much start walking the walk and move to one of their glorious right wing flyover states instead of boasting about the few that have actually done it? Watch out for the door on the way out!

I dunno. Why don't you pay decent wages and health care for your mexican gardener? How 'bout your nanny? She did a half-azzed job of razing the child of someone she hated, after all.

I think Businesses are crazy to try to work with the Unions in this State. The Unions are pricing us out of more and more jobs everyday. Why do they expect twice as much here as it would cost the Companies in New Orleans or Houston? I just don't get it.

what does the cost of labor have to do with preferences about where to live??? If the Unions overprice their labor and force the jobs to go to other cities it is their choice. Workers who live in N.O. or Houston love it there and will be thrilled with the good jobs which aren't good enough for wildly overcompensated CA unionistas.

I never want to leave So Cal. I only hope the Unions never ending demands don't drive even more jobs out of the state so we are forced to move to those awful humid cities to make a living. The unions are all about short term gratification with no thought to the future. It's very scarey for students who want to make a life here.

You must admit it was creepy for Californians to Vote for Taxation without Representation for ALL Businesses and Non Union families. The American Revolution was started due to Taxation without Representation and we Voted to make it the Law in California when we failed to Pass Prop 32. Now the Govt Empl Unions have total political control over the lives ( and the wallets) of the other 29 million Californians. Oy Vey!!
